We never expected to have such a warm welcome and above all, meet so many talented people. We love being able to say we have such good working relationships with companies such as Oliver/Hatcher Construction. At the beginning of the 2019 season we changed our vision statment to be represent who we are as a company.
I just wanted to take a minute to express our appreciation for the excellent job that you all provided regarding the Schools recent parking lot overlay. Your team did an outstanding job at working with us through the process from start to completion and we just wanted to say thanks for a job well done.
ASI has been in business for over 25 years. It owns and operates all of its asphalt paving and excavation equipment, and we seldom subcontract work. ASI's owners, Dan and Bruce Israel, were born and raised in Southfield, Michigan, and have lived their whole adult lives here and their children go to school here.
At Asphalt Specialists, Inc., we are a design build company with the capability to design and construct a parking lot in its entirety. Our customers do not have to worry about separately contracting with designers, site contractors, asphalt contractors, trucking companies, or concrete contractors as ASI has the ability to include the entire work scope under one package.
At ASI, we will do everything in our power to minimize the effect that the construction process has on your company during your parking lot rehabilitation. We pride ourselves in working around your schedule. Knowing that losing a full day of business might not be an option for your company, we can allow our business hours to change so yours do not have to.

We were looking to find a company who would do asphalt repair work. Since this company replaced our roads last year, I thought they would be a logical extension for repair. I called Craig Mattson, the project manager and spoke with him. He is a compulsive liar. We were in contact with him several times this Fall and every time I talked to him, he spewed out another lie. “Yes, he’ll come out and take a look at the problem.” He also told me how the job was going to be fixed. Then when I called back, “No, he didn’t see it, he sent his co-worker out”. Then, “Yes he’s just going to talk

Hi ASI! You did a paving job in October in Westland, Michigan and stole my brother's water in the building next door without authorization. We sent you a Ceast and Desist letter and have heard nothing and nada in regards to the request for reimbursement of the water your company used without permission. It was $110 and that's a conservative estimate. I called and left messages with the Israels and your CFO but have heard nothing back. Is that how you conduct business? You steal water from people to do your paving job instead of bringing the necessary supplies with you? You are opening your clients
