Services
Adult Foster Care is a MassHealth (Medicaid)-funded program that provides 24-hour home care services for qualified members in an individualized home setting, through the personalized assistance of a family or non-family caregiver. Adult Foster Care is an alternative to nursing home or assisted living placement.
An Adult Foster Care (AFC) caregiver may be a relative or a friend, or may be unrelated to an AFC member. An AFC caregiver may not be the spouse or a legal guardian of the member. An AFC caregiver must be at least 18 years of age and be able to make mature and informed decisions with no mental, physical or other impairments that would interfere with their ability to meet the needs of the AFC member.
Beacon Adult Foster Care is not currently hiring; however we always accept resumes from candidates for Registered Nurse Case Manager and Care Management positions. These resumes are kept on file and qualified applicants may be contacted when a position becomes available. If you are interested in joining us in the future, please feel free to submit your information.
