Fairhaven Floors exceeded our expectations! Mike was professional and knowledgeable in answering our questions, directing us to the Mercier wood flooring product. Mercier offered the solid wood, width and finish to work well with the Northwest contemporary style of our guesthouse. Tyler installed our flooring in a very skilled and competent manner. He addressed and resolved the existing flaws in the subfloor. Tyler's communication was great and he efficiently completed the project within the two day time frame we requested for our vacation. The finished wok welcomes guests beautifully!

We had a great experience working with Mike and Jessie and their team to install new vinyl floors and refinish our hardwood floors. They adapted well to the schedule in between our bathroom and kitchen remodel and did a wonderful job with great attention to every detail. Definitely recommend them for any flooring install / refinishing jobs - Our place looks amazing now - we are so so pleased .😬

If you're looking to install or repair wood floors, I'd definitely recommend Fairhaven Floors.
My situation was tricky. The initial bid was to remove the carpet and refinish the original wood floors while also installing new wood floors in the remaining living areas. Once they started the work, though, we found that the original floors had issues and there were several necessary support beams missing, all while I was coordinating a move from Seattle and trying to be out of storage and into the house by the end of May.

Just had hardwood floors installed in our kitchen to match the existing flooring in the our 99-year old house. This family-run operation did a fantastic job! They were super conscientious and worked very hard to make sure things were done right. The floors look great and we are very happy the result. They have the highest of recommendations from us!

We used Fairhaven Floors two years ago when we rehabbed a house that we owned in Bellingham to sell. The wood floors were 40+ years old, warped and squeaky. Mike and crew (his brother or son) came to the house, got underneath the home to check the joists from below, and felt confident they could refinish the floors and take care of the warping and noise. They did such an amazing job we decided to abandon the plan to put laminate in the kitchen and instead had them put down wood, which they matched to the rest of the house beautifully. Had them redo my floors after a horrible experience with Robbins Hardwood left my floor in shambles. They worked very hard removing a badly applied top coat that gunked up their sanders and the finished product is night and day difference! My floors look amazing and they were super knowledgeable about their trade. I cannot recommend them enough!

My wife and I were helping get her father's rental in Bellingham ready after the old tenants trashed it. Bobby came out to check out the condition, and gave us good news: the damage wasn't as bad as we feared, and the floors didn't need to be replaced. He gave us an estimate for refinishing the kitchen and dining room hardwoods and within a week our floors looked better than new.
I always expect professionalism in these situations (they want our $$!) but we met with 4 other folks - painters, electrician, you name it! -- and only Bobby & Mike truly delivered.
