Services
Powersports East was opened as Honda East in 1985 by our current owners and their previous partners. The owners brought with them a road racing background as well as a love for motorcycle safety and rider education. Originally Honda was the only franchise, but in 1990 Yamaha was added. And then Polaris was added after Sea-Doo was dropped.
Powersports East has a large service department equipped with state of the art tools and technology to service all cruisers/v-twins, dirt bikes, street bikes, ATVs, side x sides, scooters, and generators. We even service dog sleds and light construction equipment. Our mechanics are all factory certified and continue ongoing training to stay current and informed with all new models, bulletins, recalls, and innovations.
The Italian buffet this month is FREE to all comers. Donations will be accepted for the American Cancer Society if you want to contribute. The slow race will be happening in the front of the store and there will be heats, semi finals, and the final. All who participate will get an entry prize and the winner of the final will get their choice of either a $100 Wawa gift card, $100 Amazon gift card, or a $200 Powersports East Gift card.

Back in June I rode to Dover, DE from Ohio and upon arriving the clutch went out on my 2001 Suzuki Intruder. There was not one motorcycle shop (including the only Suzuki dealer) in the entire city of Dover who would agree to even look at it. They all told me, "Your bike is too old, we're too busy, sorry can't help you." I was stranded over 400 miles from home and no one would even take a look. I finally found Powersports East, 40 miles away, and Doc said, "We're super busy and it might take a little time to get you in, but if you can get it here I'll do what I can to help you. My husband has made several attempts to get his bike serviced. 1st we were told can’t walk in must schedule it. Today, when trying to schedule an appointment we were told that it would be treated like a drop off and it could take a couple of days before it could be finished but we could come on Saturday it would be a couple of hours (no appointment). I’m confused. How is an appointment treated like a drop off and what part of works on Saturday was not understood??? But it’s okay. We’ll jyst spend our money somewhere else.

I bought a Harley from them in May of 2020. The sales process was smooth and I was impressed with the parts dept and service dept so I scheduled them to modify my exhaust system today. Price was fair, communication was good, and they finished on time. I really couldn’t ask for anything more than that. Doc in service was a true pro and a pleasure to deal with.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They treat you fair, very decent and honest group of people. My bike had a major recall and I got in touch with them not knowing what to expect. I dealt with their service supervisor Doc and he was such a good guy. Kept me posted on the status, walked me through everything. He was absolutely the best. His boss Gary/Greg (sorry bad with names) was also very helpful. During the recall they found another faulty issue and the boss chased down the guys at the company and got that replaced. The Yamaha master tech that worked on my bike was Brian

EXCELLENT dealer. I bought a used bike here a few days ago. I'm a little far away, so I contacted them via email when I saw the bike available. Got an email back from Ryan in sales. I'd say I spent 10 minutes total between email/phone/credit app and gave a small deposit. Went down a few days later, bike was as described, signed the paperwork, super-easy, no hassle at any stage from anyone there. Ryan went over the bike with me, cleaned up some small blemishes before I left. It was so seamless I don't have much else to say...and that's how it should be. No shady sales

Place is great, staff is excellent, no pressure is given to you at all for buying a bike. The salesmen don't make you feel stupid or bad if it's your first time buying a bike (was my first time). They give you their honest opinion, conducts business fairly, and I will sure to come back here for future bikes, tune ups, and just to browse around.

The customer service in the showroom and parts area is great. The service department is not so great. I called and setup an appt. for my brand new bike 500 mi service. They quoted me a price and told me it takes 1-2 days. When I brought my bike in they told me it would be an additional $100, and that the young lady misspoke. When I cane back in to pickup my bike 2 days later. I was floored. The price had jumped again an additional $150. I asked why and I was told the quote is for parts not labor, which makes no sense. There was nothing wrong with the bike. It was just an inspection. They refused

As a newer rider I decided to visit a couple dealerships to make sure I was getting a good deal on my bike, and treated well by the people who worked there. My visit to Powersports East was by far the best. I wasn't pressured, they offered suggestions about what bike would fit me best, and be within my budget. The parts department made sure my helmet was properly fitted, and I was introduced to the service department before I left. The even helped me schedule the first service. Now, every time I go back for service, or just to browse, they remember my name, or at least remember my face
