Over 34 years ago Bob and Sara Schlosser were married in an empty field that is now Sandiwood Farm. With mountain views, breathtaking sunsets and scenic moonrises, they knew this was the place they would start their home, farm and family. They began building - tilling and cover cropping, planting, and maple sugaring our 80 acres.
The farm is named after their two children, Sandi and Kyle Woodrow. When sap runs from the trees every spring, we boil our artisanal maple syrup in small batches over a wood fire. Enjoy a taste of place, from our trees to your table. We take great pride in growing small scale organic hemp. Rich in terpenes, tested for high CBD content, low compliant THC, and the highest quality for your medicinal needs.

In 2018, we expanded our property with the purchase of an additional ten acres. Bob and Kyle began a father-son carpentry project in the summer of 2019, constructing a hemp drying barn on the new plot of land. Bob is no stranger to building, as he also built the house, barn, high tunnels, and everything you see pictured here.
Sara is the founder of our farm and knowledgable grower behind our beautiful produce. Born in New Jersey, she has been part of the Stowe community since 1980 when she attended the Stowe School. This unique high school offered an outward bound experience to students and focused on sustainable living and agriculture.
A 35-acre old-growth sugar bush in Wolcott, Vermont, provides the sap for Sandiwood Farm's maple syrup. The forest has been tapped since the 1850s. Today, sugaring is just one part of the farm's diverse agricultural ventures. 29 years ago Bob and Sara were married on the land that is now Sandiwood Farm.
Weekly orders delivered locally or available for pick up. Certified organic plants, fruits, berries, vegetables, and started seedlings for your garden. Sara and Bob Schlosser are proud, sustainable stewards of the land and take great pride in growing high quality produce and flowers for over 30 years!
Every spring, when the snow turns to the texture of granulated sugar and the warm sun melts the frost on the window panes, the sugar maples come out of their long winter's sleep. The result is one of Nature's most sumptuous delights - fresh maple sap, boiled down to thick, rich syrup as sweet as springtime itself.

My husband and I had the most ✶magical✶ wedding of our DREAMS at the beautiful Sandiwood Farm this past August! When looking at venues, it was important to us to choose a place that was both meaningful and fitting for us; being the outdoorsy, gardening nature lovers we are - and being just 20 minutes down the road from were I grew up in rural Vermont - we knew we hit the jackpot the moment we visited the farm... not just because it ticked these boxes, but because there is something truly special about this place. (I think fairies might live there.) Where to begin! Sara and Bob, the farm owners
