Johanna VanDeusen, better known as Hanna, founder of Franklin Eyewear LLC. Many of you may have worked with me in the past for your eyeglasses. I am a life long resident of Franklin and have primarily worked in Oneonta. I have dreamed of opening an eyewear shop in Franklin, bringing more services to our area and offering options to fit our lifestyles and varied fashion tastes.
I opened Franklin Eyewear in September of 2016 and have enjoyed being closer to home, especially with the arrival of my grandson. I have been in the optical field since 2002 and obtained my New York State license for ophthalmic dispensing in 2009. My passion is helping people select the best glasses to suit their lifestyle, ensuring that you are pleased with all aspects of your new eyewear.

Offering eye exams (comprehensive and diabetic), contact lens evaluations and fittings, glaucoma screening and cataract evaluations. Stylish, trendy, budget friendly eyewear. Offering sunglasses, sports glasses, ski and swim goggles, and dive masks in addition to your "everyday" glasses. All new eyewear comes with a one year warranty at no cost to you!
Why should I see a licensed optician vs. a non-licensed sales person or ordering them online? In New York State there are regulations for the fitting and dispensing of prescription eyewear. This is to ensure that you receive the most informed and professional care. A licensed optician undergoes an apprenticeship program or goes to school in addition to taking the necessary tests for national certification and state licensure.

We had such a great experience in Delhi today. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable & courteous. The prices are affordable & our glasses should be here in a week. They are neatly tucked in a corner of the business center building but they offer all the current frames that you won't wanna miss out on.
