Services
Commonwise provides companionship and personal care services wherever our clients call home. We also offer care management support for clients who use our companionship and personal care services. On principle, Commonwise does not offer separate "enrichment" services, because we believe that all clients benefit from the creative, personalized care of our exceptional Care Team.
Our Care Team members are among the best of the best, and we take pride in their exceptional work and in their outstanding credentials. Some employees come to Commonwise with an extensive caregiving background and numerous certifications, and others join our team with little to no experience. We offer in-house training to ensure that every Care Team member is both comfortable with and capable of providing first-class care.
Commonwise Home Care provides a sympathetic approach to in-home care for elderly parents who want to age in place. All Commonwise Caregivers complete our in-house training for home care workers.

My father died before there was an opportunity for Commonwise to arrange care for him, so I can't report on the organization as a whole, but I certainly can discuss Lisa Smith, the RN for Commonwise who did just an amazing job of supporting both my father and myself in his last two weeks. She arrived early to his house and got him to the hospital and was constantly in touch with me about his condition and potential need for care. If this is what she provides someone who is not even officially in her care, I can only imagine what she does for her patients.

My husband had a massive stroke two years ago. After interviewing three caregiver organizations my daughter and I agreed Commonwise was the obvious choice. It was the right decision - they have caring and responsive staff members who have proved themselves again and again. As for the carers, we have had the same two since we first signed up and, besides being very qualified and kind, they are extremely pleasant to have around.

I had to quickly arrange overnight care for my 100 year old mother who entered at-home hospice care. The Care Team are experts in meeting the needs of their clients and are always willing to provide them the very best personalized service. Commonwise has been helping me care for my 92-year-old mother for several years now, and I'm a huge fan. Communication is great--they're always available and responsive to any concerns I have. They make every effort to match caregivers to my mom's personality and needs. Care is competent, kind, and 100% reliable. I chose them in part because they train their staff well and pay them fair wages, and it shows in the high quality of care. Commonwise took on the care of my father soon after my mother died. We had two part time caregivers, Ellie and Jennifer, and both of them were incredibly kind, gentle, and patient. He was in deep grief but they managed to lift his spirits. They understood and appreciated his unconventional sense of humor. They were both incredibly devoted yet managed to be completely professional at the same time. Neither of them ever missed a day or arrived late. Working as a caregiver for Commonwise Home Care has been a rewarding experience. You are never alone while working a shift, there is always someone there to support you no matter time of day. It's been a couple of weeks since I've joined the team and I'm loving it so far! The caregivers are given plenty of resources to provide the best care, including an organized & responsive administrative team, a detailed care plan for each client, and additional trainings. Scheduling is flexible, with the possibility of choosing shifts that work with your schedule. I recommend working at Commonwise for anyone looking to gain experience providing home care!
