Serenity Psychological Services and Consulting LLC is a private mental health practice founded by Robert Yates III, Ph. D. in 2016. Dr. Yates is a licensed clinical psychologist and a licensed clinical addictions counselor in the state of Kansas. Serenity Psychological Services and Consulting LLC offers therapy services, psychological evaluation services, and consultation services.
We provide therapy services that are evidence based and focused on helping you improve mental health and enjoy a more fulfilling life. During your first visit to Serenity Psychological Services and Consulting LLC you will be provided with a diagnostic interview to help determine your goals for therapy in a supportive and relaxing atmosphere.
We provide psychological evaluations for a variety of needs. Whether you are wanting an evaluation to help determine your diagnosis to aid treatment or you need an evaluation for other purposes we will work with you in a caring, compassionate, and confidential manner. Completing a psychological evaluation can be a great way to help determine treatment goals for therapy or psychiatric medication services.
We want to work with you to make any services you receive affordable. Payment for services is expected at the time the service is provided and we will work with you to submit claims to your insurance company for reimbursement. We are continuously working to become a provider for insurance panels in the state of Kansas, so please contact us if you have questions about receiving services.
If you are just starting services at Serenity Psychological Services and Consulting LLC you may complete the forms below prior to your appointment to reduce paperwork time during your visit. You will need to complete either the adult or youth intake packet. You may or may not want to complete an authorization to request or release information depending on your circumstances, and we will discuss this at your first appointment.

Kept calling over a 3 or 4 Week period to seek counseling for anger management and other issues going on with me and they kept giving me the run around. And when I finally got a hold of someone they couldnt give me an answer as to why they wouldn't call me back or anything. I do not recommended this place.

I can’t say enough great things about Serenity! I had never been to therapy/counseling in my life so I was very nervous and didn’t know what exactly to expect but I couldn’t be happier!! I saw Lindsey Dinkel (for about 5 months) and she was so amazing to work with! I always felt like she cared about me and my time and I know working with her changed my life. In addition, I’m a graduate student at FHSU so I was honest that I had a limited income and she was understanding and up front that we’d work together for only as long as she felt was necessary and wouldn’t have me keep coming just
