We offer curbside/personal shopping services when our staffing and in-store flow permits. Customers must email/phone the store and confirm that we are currently able to handle it as it and for approximate pick up time. Like many retail businesses, we are short-staffed and may not always be able to accommodate.
There is a 10% service fee for curbside orders which goes entirely to our staff. Thank you for understanding. We're a small family-owned and operated business and trying our best. We also work with Stowe To Go (www.deliverstowe.com) and have a limited list of staples on their website available for purchase & delivery.

Services
Offering organic produce, healthy foods, supporting local farms and producers, providing a pleasant shopping experience and ultimately a one stop shopping destination with low prices is paramount.
Thanks to the success and popularity of the original location in New York City, Commodities Vermont strives to offer the same commitment to great selection, low prices, knowledgeable staff, intuitive store layout and a symbiotic relationship with their vendors.

The store features fresh produce that's predominantly organic or local, carefully-selected groceries, gourmet and specialty foods, local cheeses and other dairy products, freshly-baked breads, a gigantic selection of bulk items, grab and go items, natural health and beauty aids, minimally processed wine & beer & cider.
The follow-up to their Stowe location, Audra and Michael were eager to open in Winooski which bears similarity to the East Village where Commodities Natural Market first opened in 1993.
It's easy to draw comparisons between the East Village and Winooski although we've also heard the term "The Brooklyn of Vermont!" Everything that makes Winooski so special and unique is also what makes Commodities Natural Market a super fit for the community as it too goes through its own evolution cycle.

Our two stores are committed to featuring produce that's 100% organic, groceries, specialty items, local eggs and dairy, artisanal cheeses and breads, big bulk departments, health & beauty aids, freshly ground coffees, freshly-pressed juices and a lot more! We have a superb selection of wine, craft beer & cider.
If you're dedicated to eating local, Vermont ranks #1 for the past 4 years in a nationwide survey from Strolling of the Heifers, a nonprofit that advocates for access to local healthy food that, coincidentally (right?), is based in Vermont. The top 5 in order include Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Oregon and Massachusetts.

This is just the cute, plucky little healthy foods market that the neighborhood needed. It's not really a place for the average family to get their grocery shopping done, but the selection is surprisingly good for a small specialty market, including a pretty decent bulk foods section. The staff is also really friendly and enthusiastic.
