Services
When we started GP Transco over 14 years ago, we set out to create a trucking and logistics company that is truly modern. As CEO, Dominic is responsible for the management of all day-to-day decisions and the implementation of the company's short and long term plans. As the founder and President of the company, Gedas is responsible for financial optimization and strategic planning.
One of the things that make GP Transco stand out among thousands of carriers is our in-house developer, proprietary Transportation Management System (TMS). GP Transco customers enjoy automation and transparency once thought to be possible only through owning a private fleet.

Automated load notifications and updates, historical load date, live route optimization, and active load maps are a few of the features which reduce the amount of work customers need to do on their end, while dramatically increasing on-time delivery and overall reliability.Importance of Honest Advertising in Driver Recruitment With Vice President of CDL-Life Sadie Church.
It's time to be treated like the professional that you are. BASE Pay: 60cpm. Including accessorial pay, about 66cpm. ALL miles are paid address to address. 6-month raises available. Partner with a carrier you can rely on and earn all year round. Owner-operators receive industry-leading rates and access to dedicated customer freight, enjoy substantial fuel and maintenance discounts, and more.
National salary average is based on a 2,700-mile week in US trucking companies, and changes according to the user's calculator input; 2019 data from Zip Recruiter. The calculation above is an estimate and does not guarantee exact amounts. All amounts shown are pre-tax. Eligibility of 6-month raises depends on driver performance and is at the discretion of GP Transco.
Owner-Operators earn 70% of gross revenue, receive a large fuel discount, and have access to dedicated freight - no hidden fees. A major benefit of working with GP Transco is being able to consistently earn throughout the entire year, without having to worry about the uncertainty of the freight market.

Rare commodity to find an asset based carrier who actually does what they say ! On top of that....They communicate properly and in a timely fashion. I've been working with Ron in dispatch for 6 months now, and he has been an A+ the entire time !! GP Transco is one carrier that I do not have to babysit or worry about. Thanks for all your hard work and kept promises ! I cannot say enough good things about this carrier.

Please please please tell your drivers to stop looking at their phone while going down the highway! We are also truck drivers and one of your drivers about ran clean into us because he decided he wanted to be on his phone instead of paying attention to the road! If we had not been paying attention it could have been all bad! Trailer number is 1800, driving down 94 west in Wisconsin. Truck number 20222

I changed my review after working there. C+. The safety department did not meet my expectations. They put me in an old dirty tractor that had window coverings held in place with duct tape.
This is in response to owners response.

Reminder, I was fourth out of 348 drivers for mileage per month and first in

This is by far the best company I have ever worked for. They put me in a brand new truck and I put in 152,000 miles in less than 14 months. I was never micro managed and safety never bothered me. I would still be there if I didn’t get a regional job in Texas that gets me home on the weekends. OTR is just not for me anymore. If GP ever comes to Texas I will be first in line for a regional run.

This company treats drivers with respect and pays extremely will all with W2 and no 1099 nonsense. They get u home when u need to go home and make your work as enjoyable as it can be for an OTR truck driver. The new terminal is state of the art,,, staff is always friendly and the maintenance shop and team are amazing. This place is NOT just hype, its the real deal.

I was hired yesterday so dont have the experience with the company to write a detailed review of how it is to work here, so the 5 stars are for the orientation process which was a fast two days. They make it an easy process and pay for lunch those two days. What was really amazing to me is how everyone was very nice and just the overall vibe of the environment. I'm thinking that everyone there is well paid and so they go to work with a smile on their faces that lasts throughout the day? Haha
The terminal is extremely nice and modern, obviously built with the driver in mind. There is an in house

Just started with the company a few weeks ago. I really don't have any issues with GP. The team I work with is amazing from my dispatcher having my back and not micro managing me. To safety answering any questions, without acting annoyed or bothered. Even the weekend dispatchers want to help, which is very rare in this line of work. Bottom line they treat you like a professional driver.

Was treated kindly and like a human being. they are a simple company and easy to work with as an exsperianced driver. top notch facilities and equipment. the staff is very helpful in every aspect of a drivers life. As a new driver, I got a 2018 vnl760 until new 2022 cascadias are delivered because of the semiconductor shortage. even the old trucks are clean, well maintained and have a very nice option package. any maintenance issues are resolved quickly with a smile.

Great company to drive for so far. Great company for customers as well. A great group of professionals overall. I'm a company driver. Trucks are limited to 67mph but you can use smart pass and get to 71.
The operations side is especially smooth. No time wasting macros to send in for each load like other companies. Only about 10 drivers per dispatcher so you get attention and help as needed ASAP. Every driver I've talked with so far has told me they're happy here. GP transco can't control your experience over the road as a truck driver but the aspects they can control are spot on for the most part

Apparently a lot of doctors use this Trucking Service hence the name.

I've seen them a few times on the road and they've always been pretty courteous and friendly. Nothing particularly bad to report - pretty solid company. Speaking of solid are you free later.

So then I get this long and passionate letter from their marketing director thanking me for the review, saying it was funny, and discussing a few things with me, and you know what? This guy really cares about the company, he is a good sport, has a good sense of humour, is courteous, is understanding, I got a really good impression
