Experienced DUI Attorney Protecting the Driving Privileges of Lincoln & Lancaster County Clients. We understand that everyone makes mistakes, especially in a culture that glorifies alcohol and centers so many social events around it. That said, a DUI charge is serious and can cause you significant problems if handled improperly.
As you may know, a felony is the most serious of charges in Nebraska and across the United States. There are several classes of felonies, but all require a jail or prison sentence of at least one year if convicted. Furthermore, having a felony conviction on your record can significantly impact your life after jail.
A dispute that turns physical can lead to assault charges in Nebraska and other states. Aside from self-defense, injuring someone intentionally - and even unintentionally, in some cases - is illegal. Whether you are facing a misdemeanor or felony assault charge, the ramifications of a conviction could land you in hot water, indeed.
If you are arrested for possession of any controlled substance, you may be facing very harsh criminal charges. Everything from marijuana to improperly obtained prescription drugs is illegal to have on your person or in your car. Even small amounts of illicit substances can land you in a world of legal trouble.

When called to see if he could pick my case up. He made it as if he was sure of things and that he could help me. I payed him and I barley ever got to speak with him. He always had me speaking with his daughter, legal assistance. He never answered the phone. When he did answer the phone he always brought up how the clock is ticking and how he has other clients to get to. I began to think “I’m your client too”. I feel if he was busy and have a lot on his hands he should have informed me ahead of time. I could have went elsewhere. He was very rude , seemed to be arguing with me when all I wanted

Bill Chapin’s Law Firm was simply the worst experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer. Not only was he unresponsive, he was completely dishonest and and worked against me within my case. On numerous occasions I would ask him if we was capable of completing tasks within the scope of his purpose. On almost every request he would literally do the opposite of what I asked and he agreed to do. This undoubtedly made me question his is competence as a lawyer. His negligence not only cost me a loss of time and money he also aided to compromise of my daughters safety. Under NO circumstance would I recommend

Upon closer examination, I noticed that almost every negative comment has similar spelling and grammatical errors. Those errors, combined with the fact that most complaints are from fictional characters, leads me to believe the same pissed off person is going through a lot of trouble to make Mr Chapin look bad. Get over yourself dude. I have done research and guess what? All lawyers lose cases. Especially, Federal Circuit Appeals. Another fact I've discovered is that about 95% of people in

I paid this attorney a retainer then he filed paperwork on my behalf with the wrongs dates, wrong names. Files paper work late. Refused to act like a professional attorney. I had to find another attorney before he screwed my case up completely. You won't get any of your money back because he'll come up with a list of hours he spent on your case that will cover every dime you gave him. Why does are State allow people like this to practice law.
