I was a witness to unprofessional customer care at this location. If you choose to utilize the services at this location. It is my recommendation that you take multiple photos of the condition of your boat before leaving your boat at this location. Then when you return to pick up your boat compare the photos immediately do not leave the premises until you verify it’s in the exact same condition. Plus don’t let the 60 year old boat technician work on it.

I’ve known Kyle and Gerald for years. I bought boats from them, other dealers and through person to person to sales. I will always come here for any issues or service needs, no matter the brand of boat. You’re not just buying a boat when you deal with lake area. You’re buying service. You’re buying that “walk in and treated like family” service. You will never get turned away or scoffed at because you don’t have the particular boat they carry. They are the best around.

Great selection but thats about it. Walked around with my daughter for 15 minutes and nobody came to help! They must be flush with cash here because they don't need any more business, or maybe I didnt look like someone who could afford a boat?? Anyway there are plenty of other places to get a boat that greet you at the door and are happy to help....just not this place. 3 stars because they do have selection and I'm sure if you go beg someone to help you they will.

I will never buy anything from these people again, EVER!! They have the worse service I've ever seen anyplace. My boat and motor has been sitting in their shop for a month to change a simple engine gasket and it still isn't done. Save yourself some aggravation and don't buy your boat and motor here, you'll be paying notes on your stuff and it'll be sitting in their shop. Shop somewhere else for your boating needs, wish I could have give them zero stars!!!

Lake Area Marine delivered on every promise made at the boat show. The Items that weren’t available when we picked up our boat was delivered to our home. Phone calls where made to us ensuring everything was working and that we had received our shipments. We were very surprised when we got our boat cover in and it came with a refund from Lake Area Marine because Ranger had a promotion on the boat cover and the dealer passed that on to us. We know they did not have to be honest like that, but they were. 5 stars! Our next boat will be from them!

This place is awesome, hands down the best around. Everyone there made me so comfortable and went far and beyond to get my business. They were so much better on the prices compared to anyone else and it was not even close. I talked to them all week getting everything worked out and I said I won't be able to make it until Saturday morning, Kyle said don't worry your driving from Houston, we are going to take care of everything for you and have it ready for you. I showed up at 745 in the morning and immediately they knew who I was and took my boat from me to install the New Tohatsu. Less than a hour
