Dymin entered the scene in the Des Moines, Iowa, area in 2001, ready to change the landscape of computer sales, repair, and IT support. Scott Breitman and Bill Stasak founded the company from a walk-out basement in Ankeny, and now, with a 7,500-square-foot command center in Urbandale, Dymin is one of the largest and most experienced organizations in the state serving consumers and businesses alike!

Laptop computer wouldn't boot up. Called Dymin, dropped it off, quoted $99 standard fee to diagnose. They called right back with options, replaced the hard drive with a better, faster one and total bill was $148. Had it back the next afternoon. Computer works better than it did when I bought it. They returned my old hard drive should I ever want to spend $ on data recovery. Fantastic experience and so convenient.

After reading all the positive reviews about this business and knowing my mom had to used them before, I was confident in bringing my computer to them. However, I did not share the same experience as others. I had tripped over the cord of my laptop and yanked it onto the floor. The fall broke my lap top open on the side of the power button and could not turn it on or off without sticking an object in to press the power button and i could not type on that side of the laptop. Unfortunately, this happened a week before christmas and I did not have very much money to be fixing a computer. I’m a single

Fantastic experience, if a bit pricey, will use again
My computer was refusing to boot and a friend recommended Dymin so I called to get a quote. It was a bit pricey at $99 base + parts for whatever needed to be done, but they had a 24 hour turn around for most repairs which sold me. I brought it in and talked to Nelson who was super helpful and answered all of my questions, both about the process and other tech related questions I had. MOST AMAZING SERVICE EVER! My friend recommended Dymin when my laptop was on its last leg. I am a court reporting student, and my assignments and my tests are all online. I had to forgo daily tests as well as my national certification tests because my laptop crapped out on me in the middle of the tests. I took it to Dymin for diagnosis AND I picked up a refurbished laptop for $300 which works like a brand new, high-dollar laptop, and they diagnosed and fixed my old laptop in 24 hours as promised for $100. So, for $400, in 24 hours' time, I now have two working laptops and I will never fail

Had issues with a laptop not going to sleep and not waking up correctly, and remembered we'd used Dymin for a couple of issues in the early-2000's, so I took it in to them.

They called back within the promised 24 hours and were having trouble identifying the problem, but we agreed upon some additional troubleshooting, and they were then able to quickly replicate the issue. They tried a number of things, and ultimately decided the motherboard was bad. The cost to replace that was more than I was willing to spend, so I just had to pay the diagnostic fee, and they got the computer at least

I was so happy Dymin Systems was recommended to me. My computer quit working and as a small business owner I was very concerned. At the store Matt answered all my questions and his friendly, patience made my decisions easy. Robert came out to the office and did an excellent job of setting up the computer. I understood everything he was doing and for a non-tech person that was really exceptional. Great company and I have already recommended them.

I had bought a prebuilt gaming PC from an online seller in 2013 and began having problems with it overheating in 2015 due to it being in a small case. I took it to Dymin and they diagnosed my problems, and suggested I switch my components to a larger case with better airflow. They did the work and everything worked fine. The reason I am writing this review now, 5 years later is because as I've become more knowledgeable about computers and began replacing my own parts, I noticed some of the mistakes they made. I was going to build a Windows gaming computer. I have ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), and VERY limited manual dexterity, so I was going to be the brains, and my wife was going to be my hands. I spent 6 weeks watching YouTube videos, ao it can't be that hard, right? Everything went great for 7 or 8 days, and we were having a great time. We had a problem with our point of sale system not getting a strong wi-fi signal and had Dymin put in ethernet to them. It has been magical ever since... Until we smashed a cord between the desk and then they fixed that and it's magical again. Prompt, friendly, reasonably priced, local service.

This would be a 1 star review, but the guys at Dymin tried to right a wrong after I called them out on their repeated shenanigans, so I added a star out of pity. These guys will try to save a buck in any shady way possible in order to maximize their profits. For most people who don't know the ins-and-outs of computers, they might be a good place to get comprehensive service and repairs, but I know at least a little bit about computers and could tell they were repeatedly cheating me. I simply had a broken hinge on my laptop's lid... when I took it to them I specifically told them to fix

Scott came to our business and immediately found the source of our ongoing problem. He took the faulty computer with him and had it repaired right away. Dymin solved our problem inexpensively compared to what it could have turned into if not diagnosed correctly. A+ and we will decently will use them again if the need arises.
