Indian Summer Pool & Spa traces its beginnings to Fender Brothers Construction, which was founded in 1984 by brothers Doug and Craig Fender. Known for their quality home remodeling and concrete work, it was a natural progression for them to enter the pool and spa arena in 1988 when given the opportunity to build a pool for a current remodeling customer.
Beginning with both Hybrid stainless steel pools and vinyl liner pools in 1988, they earned two NSPI awards for their pool installations before progressing to gunite pools in 1991.

At Indian Summer Pool & Spa, we offer any and all services to make sure your swimming pool and spa look and run their best. When you schedule any of the above services with us, you will get a courtesy confirmation call letting you know when our uniformed technician will arrive at your home. A "vinyl liner" swimming pool can be built with many materials. Indian Summer Pools has chosen two manufacturers that stand out for their unique products. Whether stainless steel walls, Powder coated galvanized walls or plain galvanized walls they are all covered with a custom vinyl liner. At Indian Summer Pool & Spa we recommend and use Vinyl Liner Pool walls by Cardinal Pools and Sentry Pools.
A Hybrid Pool is a fiberglass pool with a fiberglass or a steel wall and a concrete bottom. Indian Summer Pool and Spa offers in ground hybrid pools from Always Fun Brand and Sentry Pools. Indian Summer Pool and Spa offers in ground pools and spas that feature Always Fun Brand fiberglass walls and a concrete bottom.

I would use literally any other pool contractor in Missouri rather than this business. It’s clear that they use day laborers off the street who have no idea what they’re doing. The owner was also incredibly difficult and straight up lied about pricing and what services were necessary.

The shorter, dark completed worker, shows up everyday with an infectious smile & an incredible work ethic. He seems to out work everyone despite being twice the age and half the size of the others, and does so with a positive, helpful attitude. It’s great to see a pool company with such dedicated, hard working, knowledgeable people.

I cannot vouch for the quality of work that Indian Summer Pool & Spa does but I cannot recommend them based on our experience. We scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for patio work. The appointment was for 1:30. We received a Google calendar confirmation for 1:00-2:30. At 11:54 we received a voice message from the office that the rep was delayed and if we needed more info to call him. Having not received any additional updates, my husband called the rep at 2:30. The rep said he had an emergency but should be at our house in approximately an hour plus drive time. He showed up at 4:30. In

What impressed me most is how organized this company is. Everybody knows what everyone else is doing. I know that sounds standard but trust me -- it's not. I've tried many pool companies where everyone but the owner is clueless as to what's going on.
Another aspect of the company is they communicate with you when any delay happens. Again, many don't even bother to call you or just blow you off over and over again because they are busy with another project expecting you to keep up with them.
Finally, these guys really know what they are doing and clean up after themselves and don't charge you
