Services
These machines are budget friendly for kids and adults just learning the craft. They are easy to operate, small enough to store when not in use, and powerful enough to handle home decor, apparel, quilting, and more. We offer two basic types of quilting machines (though you can do so much more than quilt on these!).
We offer a carefully cultivated selection of quality fabrics and notions. Shop in person at our studio or here on our website. Students will receive 20% off of their materials for class if purchased from Sew Sew Studio. If you're unsure what to buy, or how much you'll need, just come in to the shop and ask, or send us a quick email.
Children's birthdays are $30 per participant, which includes all materials and pizza from Fox's. We'll set out a party table - feel free to bring a cake, drinks, snacks and decorations to make the place your own. Parents can drop kids off or stay and enjoy the experience. Kids love a birthday at Sew Sew.
When you purchase a sewing machine from Sew Sew, you're getting more than a machine! As mentioned previously, every sewing machine purchase comes with free owner's classes to make sure that you know every knob, switch, function and accessory on your machine. The first service on your machine (approx one year after purchase) is free of charge, as well.

I took a quilting class series at Sew Sew Studio having never used a sewing machine before. The staff who were teaching the class, Toni and Tonya, were so supportive and genuinely excited that I had decided to learn, which made me feel good! After a few visits I found out that all staff at the studio are kind and supportive people, and that they all contribute to the relaxed, fun atmosphere of this place. Beyond that, the fabrics they carry here are beautiful and so much better than what you might find at Joann, Michael's, and similar stores. They also sell sewing machines like Janome which were

What a great little shop, packed with good things! I drive from Atlanta to shop here and take classes. The owner, Sarah, and her staff are so cordial and very helpful. The class teachers are great and very patient. They also have an awesome Etsy store! Janome machines are the icing on the cake. When you take a class, they provide a sewing machine so that you don’t have to haul all your things to enjoy the class. Stop by and see if I’m telling the truth!

What a wonderful shop! It’s decorated beautifully, and you’ll immediately feel the friendly vibe! Even though I’ve never used a sewing machine, the staff made me feel extremely comfortable. They were so helpful and made the entire experience a fun time with friends. I definitely recommend checking out this hidden gem.

My all time favorite place to get fabric!! I’m there as often as I can be to purchase from Sew Sew Studio! The selection is SO unique and I always find so many options! Sew Sew is the best source for beautiful fabrics in Athens by far. The staff is always so helpful and friendly! My daughter and son took a sewing class there and absolutely loved it too! Truly a gem in Athens!
