We love living life on the water and after losing one too many pairs of expensive shades on the water, a husband and wife team out of Charleston, S.C. decided to put an end to the problem. Since selling out of the first two floating styles in 2016, Rheos has evolved into a collection of high-performance and stylish eyewear built for the water.

These are the absolute best sunglasses I’ve ever owned. They look amazing and they float on water!!! Which is how I have lost so many expensive brand names sunglasses in the past. I love the fact I’m supporting a local business who give back by supporting so many local non profits. Their customer service is outstanding and I just can’t say enough great things about the Rheos team. Keep up the great work!

Based on my understanding, Rheos Gear is a relatively new startup. My wife and I each purchased a pair of Rheos sunglasses back in September 2020. We've received so many compliments about the look and style of these sunglasses. Our main reason for choosing Rheos is because they FLOAT. (You wouldn't believe how many pairs of sunglasses we've lost in water before switching to Rheos.) The downside to these sunglasses is that they're a bit fragile. My original pair broke at the hinge when I was pulling them off my head because one of the arms got momentarily stuck in my headband. My second pair broke
