With a background in clinical research, she blends the wisdom of ancient medicine with the cutting-edge knowledge gained from modern science.
Naturopathic Medicine is not a particular therapy or practice, rather a philosophy for approaching an individual's health. Pharmacology: We are trained and able to use pharmacological medications when needed, though this is not our first choice! We see medicine as a tool to be reserved for acute situations when other modalities will not produce the necessary outcome in the desired amount of time.

Despite my years of training through Naturopathic Medicine School, I still didn't feel like I had a good grasp on what would be best for my daughter. Instead, I felt afraid and conflicted, not knowing which choice was more risky. That is when I decided to take a deep dive into the research behind vaccinations and what I can do to better ensure efficacy and safety.
We are extremely passionate about supporting ALL COUPLES prior to conceiving, as we believe this is the KEY to ending the epidemic rise in chronic childhood illness. The transition into motherhood is accompanied with many obstacles; for some, this includes struggles with mood instability. This is a very understandable phenomenon given the drastic change in hormones and nutrient balance, coupled with sleep deprivation.

Dr. Ari is phenomenal and I only wish I lived nearby to be a patient in person. Despite living out of state, she has a few virtual offerings that my husband and I found immensely helpful in making tough decisions regarding our son's health. I worked with Dr. Ari to create a customized vaccination schedule for our son and it was hands down one of the best things I've ever done for both myself and for him. Dr Ari Calhoun has literally been a god sent. We were going through multiple behavioral issues with my 4 year old and felt hopeless. I finally felt hopeful after our first appointment. She was so compassionate to what we were going through. Her treatment plan was so detailed, thorough and easy to follow. 3 weeks into his treatment plan/ protocol he is a changed boy!!!! I was referred to Dr Calhoun through a family friend and could not be happier. She has been a wealth of knowledge, and so incredibly helpful in getting my personal health optimized. I searched out Dr. Calhoun 12 months ago because I was feeling miserable. I'm a 49 year old female. I had been having what I called " emotional instability " for years. All the other doctors I saw in the past told me I had chronic stress and was fine. I was not fine.
