Took my Chrysler 300 Srt8 for a diagnostic normal diagnostic cost around 130-140 $ don’t remember. They said they needed to tear apart my engine because it needed to be done to find out what went wrong and that would cost 300$ and all they did was take off the valve cover and saw that the lifter was broken and determined that I needed a whole new engine I left with a quote of 13000$ . Thank god I took it to jeep dealership and they did a tear down diagnostic and determined that my engine was still good and just needed a rebuild which costed me 4000$. All these guys did was take off the valve

I had a knocking noise in the front suspension of my wife's 2019 Subaru Outback. We moved to Reno a couple of years ago and have not needed any auto repairs other than routine maintenance that I had been doing at one of the big chain tire stores. I had actually gotten a recommendation from a tow truck driver a couple of years ago that My Car Shop was a reputable shop. Google reviews looked good so I brought my car in.

This was my first experience with My Car Shop. I needed exhaust system repair. I called on Tuesday for assistance and my appointment was made for Thursday morning. My truck was promptly looked at and an estimate was given. They started work immediately and found the problem, replaced a section of tail pipe within 1 1/2 hours. My noise and performance issue was fixed. I am pleased with the integrity, professionalism, and total care I received from everyone from the desk to the mechanic.

My son had issues with his 2005 Chevy Silverado and we took it to Manual Transmission. But they were so busy they couldn't get to it in time so they took it to this place, My Car Shop. After a couple days I started speaking with the owner, Julie, who called me everyday to inform me on what they were doing to his truck. He had a misfire and they did a compression test and changed the plugs and wires and that solved the problem. The neighbor garage next to them owned a similar type vehicle that my son has, and he was aware of a certain issue of the plug wires not staying on the 7th and 8th cylinder

Julie and the shop guys worked on my sons truck. He had a rough idle and poor gas mileage. After a couple days and other tests, , they figured it was the plugs and wires, but they ran a compression test to eliminate another possibility. His truck runs fine thanks to their professionalism and diligence!

I was recommended to this shop by another shop who didn't work on my type of car. I have never ever felt more taken care of in my life when it comes to car repair. I honestly don't know much when it comes to my car and that has been taken advantage of in the past. These folks undid all of those sour feelings. I've been coming to my Car Shop since it opened. Kyle is seriously one of the best mechanics that will give you his honest opinion with no BS. The crew at My Car Shop wants to make sure that you don't have to come back and deal with big problems down the road. They always recommend work that will save you money in the long run! I've never received a lick of bad service and they always go above and beyond to work with my schedule!

If you enjoy being gouged for parts and labor and having your vehicle misdiagnosed...this is the perfect mechanic for you! My experience with this sub par, high dollar, unethical, outfit was extremely NEGATIVE! We truly didn't appreciate having to bring our car back a second time for what should have been properly diagnosed this first time! Labor and parts were found to be more than the dealership charges! Definitely would NEVER recommend and I encourage you to tell ALL your friends about this shady business as we are doing the same! Don't make the same mistake we did!

These guys are awesome. I've had them fix my car a couple times. This particular time, I accidentally knocked off my antenna. Julie was so nice. Getting the part through them would have cost $250. However, Julie found the correct part on Amazon for $14 and had me buy it. After I did, I brought it back to the shop and they fixed it for $33. The whole thing cost me merely $50. Additionally, I had some paint streaks from when someone sideswiped my car. They referred me to a wonderful detailing place, when I thought I was going to need it repainted. I go to them for all of my vehicle repairs.

My Mechanic has joined forces with MyCarShop & this shop is nothing short of amazing . They don't try to swindle you into fixing something that isn't broken nor do they try to take advantage of you because you know little about cars . They worked on the car as efficiently as possible . I was quoted fairly and was estimated on a decent time frame for the work I needed done . Knowing that I had a toddler they turned my 3 hr wait time into 2. If that's not customer service I don't know what is .Every bad review on this place is obviously inaccurate. Everyone from the mechanics
