Services
Cordi Woodworks has a long history in the woodworking business. Chris Cordi is the grandson of Giuseppe Cordi, a builder and cabinet maker who immigrated from Italy in 1905 and established himself in Brooklyn, New York. Chris always admired his grandfather's craft, and while in college, worked construction jobs during summers and holidays.
Elegance and functionality is key when designing the perfect home office. Every home office Cordi Woodworks builds is customized to meet the specific needs of our customers. Designs can include a simple desk to a room full of bookcases, recessed lighting, detailed paneling, and more. All home offices can be painted or stained to match existing cabinetry.
Wallbeds add functionality and beauty to any room. Cordiwoodworks has built many wallbeds over the years. There are numerous design options to consider when purchasing a wallbed. Designs can be as simple as a basic wall bed or as elegant as a built-in with adjoining bookcases, recessed lighting, paneled woodwork and more.
Cordi Woodworks has built hundreds of entertainment centers. There are many options to consider when customizing your entertainment center. Options can include recessed lights, speaker inserts, wine racks, fluted faceframes, appliques, pocket doors and specialty hardware. All entertainment centers can be painted or stained to match existing cabinetry.
Cordi Woodworks builds numerous custom projects that include mantles, furniture pieces, desks, hutches, bathroom vanities and more. We also design and create custom carvings and signs. Cordi Woodworks has built everything from custom furniture designs to neighboorhood entry signs.

I ordered a custom wall unit from Cordi Woodworks. I was provided with several CAD drawings before I could make a final decision on a custom wall unit. I had an idea of what I thought I wanted (from Pinterest). After tweaking a few CAD drawings, the drawing became the exact custom look I wanted.
Installation was perfect and the measurements were exact. The price matched the quality of the custom wall unit. I highly recommend this business for custom cabinetry.
The employees wore masks during COVID and were very respectful. It can't get any better than this. Five star.

We HIGHLY recommend Joe Cordi and his team. He designed, built, and installed a custom entertainment center for us and it is absolutely stunning. We are thrilled with the end result and his incredible craftsmanship. He and his team were extremely professional and had wonderful communication with us throughout the project. Cordi Woodworks built custom cabinets for our 1950's kitchen. We wanted a period-appropriate appearance, but with modern hardware. Joe worked closely with us to get our ideas, then did his own research into the various aesthetic options. You could tell he was just as excited about the project as we were, as this was a different type of challenge for him. We get compliments on our cabinets from nearly everyone who enters our home. They are so unique. Beautiful color and they've been sanded so that they shine almost like metal. Simply gorgeous.
