The Lamb Shoppe is a charming specialty farm store located 10 miles west of Hutchinson on Hwy 7. The Shoppe features natural foods, unique local products & gifts, organic produce, healthy personal care items, nontoxic makeup, bulk medicinal herbs & teas and supplements. In addition, the Shoppe also offers grass-fed farm raised meats including lamb, beef, chicken, eggs and turkeys (Seasonally).
The Wellness Center is comprised of a team of professionals who work independently to help empower health & wellness to the community. The Wellness Center offers a variety of holistic options including nutrition, herbal medicine, massage therapy, reiki, Biomat Infrared Therapy, sound therapy, thermography, hair studio, and more.

For 30 years, Connie and her husband, Doug, have worked on their 180-acre sustainable livestock farm where sheep and other livestock are grazed. Connie offers private wellness consultations incorporating whole foods nutrition, herbs, stress management techniques, and other natural remedies to support and build overall health and re-balance the body.
The Lamb Shoppe first opened in 1996 as a very small retail spot attached to the farmhouse selling 100% grass-fed lamb raised on the farm. Shortly after, the Shoppe started offering beef, free-range chicken & eggs and fresh Thanksgiving turkeys. In 2010, a separate building was built to offer more products on health & wellness.
Our team is in search of someone who is passionate about great food, holistic wellness and health education. Our team focuses on empowering health and wellness from our farm to the customers. The job will include working in the Shoppe, answering phones, assisting customers, cleaning and stocking shelves.
Our farm is nestled in the heart of Upper Midwest Farm Country 10 miles west of Hutchinson, Minnesota. Our farm is conveniently located just 75 scenic miles west of Minneapolis/St. Paul on Hwy 7. From Hutchinson at the crossing of highways 15 & 7, go 9.7 miles west on highway 7. We are located on the south side of the road, the first farm west of the village of Cedar Mills.

Overall, it's a cute shop with a wide selection of yarns and materials. When I walked in, I was greeted well and assisted right away. They were very receptive.
However, the trouble came when it got time to pay. On the first register, there were some technical difficulties which were understandable. Then I was brought to the second register. There, the technical difficulties persisted. The employee simply stated she was inexperienced with the new systems and urged me to try over and over with my card.
At some point, I was charged a smaller amount that wasn't even close to what my purchase rang

I was in this shop twice recently, both on Sundays. I found a knitted blanket there that I wanted to knit and ask for the pattern and what yarn was used. The one employee who treated me poorly said, “the pattern will cost me money and the yarn used is not sold here.” I had said I didn’t expect it free and did they have a substitute yarn. After all they had a knitted sample in the store. More friendly employee showed me the yarn and said she’d print the pattern, which was a free purl soho pattern and she would help me figure the amount of yarn for said blanket. A lovely shop! It's an absolutely beautiful place. To be honest they didn't really acknowledge me when I came in, but after browsing for a bit someone came to talk to me, and after that the service was excellent. I was shown the local yarns, and they had a wide variety of yarns and supplies. They offered to wind my yarn for me too.

They also do not return or exchange needles, hooks, books, patterns, accessories trims or classes. Returns/exchanges only apply to unwound yarn for store credit. (Stated on receipt of purchase, see photo). In support of small business this a wonderful place to visit and gather ideas. The yarn selection is nice but limited. The evening staff (a gentlemen) was very kind and helpful. As for their return policy: I will be purchasing all of my supplies elsewhere. I attempted to exchange 3 days after purchase as I picked up the incorrect size. The needles are unused and in original package with the receipt
