Muncie Ballet Studio

Muncie Ballet was created to provide children of all economic backgrounds the opportunity to experience and appreciate classical dance and music through community performances, as a performer or audience member. Each fall and spring, hundreds of Indiana school children wait anxiously for the curtain to open, for many, their first ballet performance.

We have a role in our big show that is made just for your child - whether new to the stage or years in dance - we have a place for your child to shine. Join a dance class and be ready to sparkle. All dancers Age 7 and up are welcome to join the Muncie Ballet Company. Class placement and advancement is made through ability, attendance, and fitness and is always at the discretion of teachers and director.

MBS was created as a not for-profit to provide a non-competitive dance experience while promoting classical music and dance for children. Financial assistance and scholarships allow any child the opportunity to participate. MBS attends community events promoting the studio classes and performances.

Our building was once the VFW, and flew a flag for local Veteran heros. The buildings original flagpole has been donated to the Veterans area of Beechgrove cemetery. Please look for it across from the restaurant at Nichols and Kilgore, It looks great!. Your gift allows Muncie Ballet to use our resources for children's free and reduced classes and dancewear.
