Pacific German in Laguna Hills, CA first opened its doors back in 1999 in Riverside, CA. Our shop was founded with the idea in mind that our community needed an auto repair shop that they could rely on. We wanted to provide excellent customer service paired with factory-level repairs that the dealerships in the area could not offer.
Needed to have my 2009 Porsche 911 S / 997.2 oil changed. Browsed my latest copy of Pando and found the Pacific German ad. Went online and made an appointment for an oil change and requested a free safety inspection. Glad I did. Shawn was very thorough and I really liked the vehicle inspection report.
A. We charge a diagnostic fee to support the costs required to have factory diagnostic tools to accurately assess your concerns and prevent an unnecessary misdiagnosis. We are required to spend thousands of dollars annually on licensing alone to be constantly up to date through the dealership network.

We have the knowledge and experience required tools to accurately repair your Volkswagen right the first time. Our workshop software allows us to report every repair order to CARFAX.

I purchased my first Audi that did not have a complete service history, even with only 40,000 miles. Pacific German helped me establish a yearly maintenance program, and they completed my major servicing.
Pacific German was able to identify issues with the mis-matched front tires and were able to order some of the hardest to find Michelin Pilots.
I can't thank the team enough for everything; I can't wait to start adding performance parts! If you have any German car, these guys are simply the best.

The only shop I trust with my cars. Absolutely fantastic service, insanely fast turnarounds, and meticulous attention to detail (After service I see paint pen marks on individual bolts denoting that they've been torqued to spec)

I'm so glad I chose to go here! I recently brought in two 957 Cayennes to get some aftermarket suspension parts installed as well as wheels/tires mounted and balanced. Huge shoutout to Tyler, Alfie and the team at Pacific German for doing an amazing job getting both dialed in perfectly. I appreciate all of their attention to detail, knowing the vehicles were properly taken care of in all aspects. I brought my 911 turbo S in for oil change and then a recommended break service. After the service was completed the breaks immediately started to squeak so the car was brought back. After they inspected the car and located the squeak, I was told there is nothing they can do. They said it was a nuisance problem and asked if I wanted a quote for new breaks. Really!! The car has 8k miles and the breaks are fine. The car never had this issue until the break service was completed. That was the first and last time I will bring my car there. A nuisance problem, that is a new one for me.

My go to shop for any service or install I don't feel like doing myself. The only place I take my Audi's and VW's. Tyler always take care of my service needs, like bringing me a qt of oil to a local car show to top off my car in between oil service. They service most European brands and have Factory diagnostic tools that usually only dealerships have. Worth the 80 mile drive for the piece of mind knowing that my car will be cared for.

Amazing place, quality of work, and people. May never go to a dealer again! Shawn, Tyler, and team were super nice. They did a full brake replacement for me with OEM parts with quality of work well beyond the Mercedes dealership. Highly recommend you take your high performance vehicle to Pacific German. I have been bringing my 991 in for regular maintenance and tire mounting for almost two years and have had the best experience here. It is worth the 60 mile drive for me to know my car is in good hands. Very honest shop with great customer service. They do a great job at inspecting your car for any recommended or upcoming repairs/maintenance it may need.

I found pacific German twice and both times they overcharged me. They have $149 inspections fee that is not refundable even if they repair you car, you still pay that.
I spent $3500 1st time for valve replacement and second time they charged me over $2300, this includes $900 labor and $149 inspection.
Insanely expensive, not honest and trustworthy people.
Last time and highly recommend to stay away from this place to save yourself money and headache.

I have a 2014 Audi s5 and did my research before taking it to any shop. Pacific German had the best reviews but after going there, I see why. These guys truly know what they’re doing, and we’re able to save me thousands of dollars that the dealership would’ve charged me. In the end, all I needed was a software update which they were able to do using OEM CAN tools, which aren’t available at many shops. Not only that, but they took their time to properly diagnose my car in all areas, providing affordable solutions across the board. If I wasn’t selling my car, I would have FOR SURE gone

Got a ton of work done with these guys on my 992 C4S. This is the kind of place where you feel a strong bond and know that it will be a long term relationship. They're extremely trustworthy and you know that you're in good hands. Prices are more than fair and even having a manufacturer's warranty I prefer to take my car in to Pacific German.

What an amazing experience. We are new to the area and had been recommended Pacific German by a neighbor. I called for estimates on our Audi A4 major service and S3 minor service and inspection.
The team there were super helpful, took plenty of time despite being busy to ensure I understood what it all entailed, they even found a small leak that my Audi dealership had missed and prevented more expensive work down the line.
Both cars drive great and communication was excellent. Will be recommending them to everyone I know!

If you own a German car and in need of a great honest mechanic, then look no further. Tyler and Shawn are the BEST in the business. I have been taking all my Audi's to them for 7 years now. They do everything at this shop! From regular maintenance, repairs and performance upgrades. The shop is absolutely gorgeous and the waiting room is top notch! Update. (I still own this same car). After 4 years and 41,500 additional miles of spirited driving, the car is in fantastic shape. I never had to repair anything anywhere, just regular maintenances - and yes, I still have my mechanics check the suspension. I am so glad that I stayed away from this place, who knows what kind of "recommended services" I would have got. Honesty goes a long way.

To start, I've made the mistake of taking my GTI's, both current and past, to other shops and have regretted it. Why? pure laziness, I live about 2 hours, without traffic, from Pacific German. I now know that a little driving goes a long way.
