Services
Your hearing healthcare providers at Ashland Audiology provide hearing healthcare services and products. Partnering with you to ensure your best hearing using evidence-based practices. Dr. Amy was raised on her family's dairy farm in the Rice Lake, WI area. Away from work she enjoys exploring Lake Superior and the Ashland area with her husband, Matt and her son, Leif.
Hearing is one of our primary means of communication, and at Ashland Audiology we take a comprehensive view of hearing for all ages.

Whether you have a child who is exhibiting signs of hearing loss, you need a new set of hearing aids for yourself, or you're interested in custom hearing protection, the friendly professionals at Ashland Audiology can help you get a better understanding of your hearing health and guide you to the solutions that will work best for you.
A hearing aid helps amplify environmental sound to give you a better picture of the world around you. By taking an evaluation of your hearing ability, we can find out exactly which frequencies are quieter for you, and provide targeted amplification at those frequencies.

That means your brain will get something more like a normal presentation of the sound it is used to hearing, and the world will seem more like it does when hearing ability is "normal."In addition to amplifying sound at specific frequencies, DSP (digital signal processing) now allows hearing aids to process sound in a variety of ways.
ReSound has been improving the quality of life for people with hearing loss, as well as their families and friends, since 1943. They've been a pioneer amongst hearing aid manufacturers, and were early adopters of DSP (digital signal processing), which now runs just about every hearing aid in the world.
That's about 7% of the total population of the United States. Causes of hearing loss range from genetic birth anomalies to plain-and-simple old age. Indeed, rates of hearing loss tend to increase dramatically as we age. About one-third of people age 60-69 have hearing loss, while about two-thirds of those over age 70 have it.

I feel foolish, I had my hearing tested, I was told I needed hearing aids. I purchased the mid range because it was recommended by the option of my circumstances of what would work for me. I got them because insurance told me it was covered. Ashland audiology knew they didn't cover that model. So now my choice is paying 1200 to keep them or 800 to return them.

Great people here--always feels especially good to be treated, in a medical environment, with that combination of professional skill and small town humanity, efficiency and warmth. Great to be reassured good medical care does not need to be served cold.

Ashland Audiology provided the services I needed and did it without delay. I'm happy with their care and their charges. I normally receive my audiology care from VA, but I used Ashland Audiology for care that was unavailable from VA for a variety of reasons. Their expertise, and friendly care puts them above other audiology clinics I've used, both in VA and other private practice clinics.

Personal attention. That's the biggest plus for me. From the initial purchase through years of ownership Bill has attended to my individual needs with knowledge and respect and a great sense of humor. Couldn't recommend more highly.
