What's a great Mexican restaurant doing way up here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for the last 20 years?! I ask myself the same question every day! Good Mexican food tastes just as good way up here in the white North as it does in the heat of the sun in Mexico. I love to travel, see different places and experience some of the variety that is our world.
Nachos: Our tortilla chips served with refried beans, melted Jack and Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onions, black olives and jalapenos. Mini Tacos: Deep fried with a chicken filling. Guacamole & Chips: Avocado mixed with our own salsa and tortilla chips. Hot Wings: Mild (jalapeno), medium (chipotle) or hot (habanero).
Cafe Noche is our favorite lunch spot in the White Mountains. The food is fresh, flavorful, and fun. Check the local papers for coupons too. Best Mexican Food in Valley: This place is a great value. The food is excellent and the staff is always friendly and eager to make your visit a good one. They have a nice selection of adult beverages and Mexican sauces to try on your order, if you need them hotter than prepared.

The atmosphere was good. The food was ok except that the beans in my tostada salad were cold. Both the refried and the black beans were cold and the shell itself was cold. The waitress could have been better. I asked for more napkins and never got them.

TOTAL DISRESPECT!!! My friend and I decided to go to cafe noche on Monday, December 27th for drinks and some apps. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks-which were really good! The bartender was so friendly and inviting. We continued to order some apps. We ordered the cheese crisp and jalapeƱo queso dip. When the apps were delivered to us the cheese crisp was completely cold and we received a soup cup of queso dip cold- with no chips. When we flagged down someone(which later on we found out was the owner's girlfriend) and told her that the food was cold, stated " I'll adjust

Inedible food served barely warm. (Heat would not have improved.) Ethnicity irrelevant; worst restaurant offering I've ever experienced. Would anticipate better from a truck-stop vending machine. Very nice waitness. She deserves better.

Am shocked to see reviews here....food is excellent, small locally owned business so the service is understandably not what it used to be given lack of consistent customer volume in the area so it is totally understandable that in this area there may be more of a wait than they would be in a more suburban area. Anyway, my husband and I have been here several times, always had a good experience and good food and drinks. Visited more recently Wes my daughters family in tow, 3 year old granddaughter loved her food and the baby even enjoyed a few bites. Again, food and drinks were just as good as small

Absolutely loved the ambiance and the festive feeling here. We popped in for drinks and ended up ordering the Chicken Quesadilla and the Pulled Pork Chimichanga. The food and Pineapple Chipotle Margaritas were delicious! Good selection of local draught & seasonal beers. We received amazing service from Dillon the bartender and he made great recommendations. The vibes of this establishment felt friendly and inviting with Dillon greeting a couple small groups of people by their first names. Gave us the warm feelings of a small town feel. Great prices. Visible location from the main road with a parking

The food was ok(had shrimp enchiladas)and my Mojito was just blah. Our waitress was super nice and it has a nice atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. Not sure I would stop in again unless I go with my sister, who loves this place.

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. Kid friendly. We eat here every time we are in the area. Brought our 6 month old and the staff was wonderfully accommodating. Our waitress was patient and helpful, even entertaining or disappoint for a few minutes while we ate. Highly recommended.
Also, they have frozen drinks.

Drove 194 miles to have a great authentic Mexican meal. Cafe Noche can't be beat! The food was great, but Annie's attention and service made my visit perfect. This is a real gem in the village.

The tacos weren't exactly what I was expecting, but everything was extremely fresh and tasty. No food coma afterwards. Excellent salsa and habanero margaritas. Fun atmosphere and very friendly service - we ate there once and then got the same order as takeout a few nights later. I will return here when I'm in the area.

Great food. We went here twice in one week thatā€™s how good it was! Homemade salsa and chips were so good. We got build your own soft tacos which the Spanish rice and refried beans were the best! The guacamole was not to good wouldnā€™t recommend. But everything else was delicious!! Definitely will be coming back again!

A must visit. Vibrant decor celebrates Mexican culture. Booth seating provides some privacy. Good service. Highly recommend fajitas and margaritas. If they are still on the menu avoid the margarita shrimp enchiladas.

I almost left the parking lot after reading these reviews. I'm glad I didn't! The service was top notch, very attentive and friendly. Margaritas were fantastic (and strong). I went with my daughter. She got tacos and I had the fajita combo with chicken and steak. All were delicious and the steak marinade was especially tasty. Prices were very reasonable and our overall experience wonderful. We will absolutely be back!!!

I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating, but too many things were out of place for it to get there. They were busy and I know restaurants are having labor shortages but it wasn't the less than average service...it was the quality of food. The fajitas were nice and I ate them up, but the quesadilla, queso dip, and black beans were not for the common tourist. The black beans were on a spice level that seemed inhumane for a regular side dish. The queso dip did not come with chips.
I am glad to support local restaurants, but please make sure to take care of us tourists as we explore your

Unprofessional, rude, and filthy. We found either a fruit fly or some mold on a piece of ice in our margarita. When brought to the waitresses attention that we'd like to cancel our order she just stated "Oh" and continued doing what she was doing. No apology from her.
We then called the manager, which is when crap hit the fan. They insisted that we were being rude, which is totally the opposite of the kind demeanor we had while on the phone with them. There was no acknowledgement of the condition of the drink that was served, no apology from the manager and the conversation had to

Not authentic Mexican, do not recommend. We could tell our entrees had been microwaved & that the cheese was store-bought pre-shredded cheese. Our "jalapeƱo queso" had no flavor to it, we were dumping hot sauce into it. Our margaritas were the best part of the meal.

I can only find it within myself to give this place 2 stars.

The staff was very nice and accommodating and environment is adorable. They had our table set up. They were ready to deliver and I feel terrible to even write this review because I think this place could be great.

I genuinely wish I could give this place better reviews but the food from start to finish was borderline inedible.

I order the chicken tacos, I'm not even sure what kind of meat was actually put into the tacos, buried under a heaping amount of romaine lettuce and cheese that just wasn't right. The beans on the

A+ -- I'm giving this visit (3/2021) a solid 5 stars. Why?

1. I love the theming of this place. Its cute, quaint, well decorated, its just awesome. (see pictures)
2. Chips and SALSA! I love the salsa here.. chunky and flavorful. I think one of my favorites ever! We used to stop and get some when we were camping at Danforth Bay.
3. The main course food tasted AWESOME! I had a the chicken taco salad (i've been looking for a new taco salad with all the fixings). Not sure this is it but it was very good. The size of it was small but everything in it was AWESOME. The wife loved

Probably the best salsa I've had in a Mexican restaurant. Fresh, spicy, well balanced flavors. Had the medium wings as an appetizer. Nice sauce, cooked well. Dinner was the sampler #2 with a Chile relleno, chimichanga, and quesadilla. Excellent flavors, cooked well, good presentation. I'll definitely come back.

We had a positive lunchtime experience here. Chips were average but the salsa was great. We ordered the sampler; taco, burrito, enchilada with smoked pork. The flour tortillas were phenomenal. Best I've ever had, hands down. The smoked pork was awesome. You could really taste it and what a difference it made. Spanish rice was very good. Refried beans were, well, refried beans. Nothing else to say there. The fried ice cream was disappointing. I don't think it was either fried enough or hot enough but I'm honestly not sure since I am not a fried ice cream expert. I do

Came here on a Saturday around 5 and there was no wait. Overall the food was pretty good, however the chips were the worst I've had at any Mexican restaurant. Not only did they not taste good, we only had chip crumbs. They were cold and bland.. The little bit of salsa we had tasted good though.

For drinks we ordered the Mexican mudbowl and the white mountain mule. Not sure if it was the vodka or the ginger beer but the mule was not good. I've had many different mules and this one I couldn't drink. The mudbowl was delicious.

For dinner we got a beef chimichanga and the chicken

What a major disappointment! We had been looking forward to Cafe Noche since driving by on Sunday. We looked it up online, and once we saw the menu and the pictures online, we knew it was a must do!
It was barely 6:00 pm on a Wednesday and we were seated right away. The restaurant wasn't busy-maybe 4 other seated tables. Our waitress took quite some time to greet us and when she did, we ordered a pitcher of margaritas & waters-almost a $50 tab right out of the gate.
Margaritas came without the waters and without chips & salsa.
We were scouring the menu about the chips when we watched

Honestly I'd give this place zero stars if possible. We got two catfish burritos (with guac added) which came to $38, making it the worst and most expensive burrito I've ever eaten. The catfish was very off and when we called to tell them they asked if it tasted raw because they'd been getting that complaint a lot. She explained that the fish was precooked so it can't be raw. You'd think that if a ton of people were complaining about something you'd change it? After giving us attitude she handed us over to the owner who took things to the next level by being combative

Living in NH, I know that it isn't exactly the Mexican food mecca. I've had good, I've had eh, and I've had bad. Like really bad. Cafe Noche is more along the eh line. It wasn't bad and it wasn't great.

To start, the salsa was a little funky tasting and although chips and salsa were welcoming after a big hike, it wasn't my favorite. The service was ok. No super fast and not all that slow either. Kinda everything on this visit was in between. What was kinda bad was the guac. It was brown and didn't taste all that fresh. The margaritas weren&apos

This is a difficult review to write. We've eaten here plenty of times in the past and have been satisfied with the Tex-Mex we've been served, delicious!

Last evening though we had a disappointing dining experience. I was with my husband and family and my mom and I each ordered chicken chimichangas. When our orders came my mom's was correct but mine was vegetable. It was difficult to find the waitress, but my husband found her to let her know. I awkwardly Sat watching everyone almost finish their meals. Finally my meal arrived. It STILL wasn't chicken it was ground beef. After
