First, as a young girl, watching brides come and go from my mom's home based workshop.
After many years in the fashion industry, my mom started making made-to-order bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses in 1980. There, I got my first glimpse at the excitement and anxiety of planning a wedding. Brides would come in excited and enthused, ready to get their dress selected and fitted. Sometimes, by the time the final fitting would come around some were overwhelmed and frustrated.

The Sensory Garden is a unique location that offers a tranquil retreat for any special occasion. The Sensory Garden has hosted numerous events, from intimate affairs of 80 guests, Art Shows, Wine Tastings and Weddings, to Live Jazz Concerts of more than 150 guests. Be it an intimate afternoon gathering or formal evening, The Sensory Garden offers a beautiful outdoor setting for your next special event.

We recently moved to Fort Lauderdale and found ourselves hosting two large events within a couple of weeks from each other. Sandra was the best recommendation we could have received. What a pleasure to work with Sandra of #MainEventPlanners. This cute racetrack display is perfect for a boys birthday and it was interactive with race cars that could be driven on the table top track, flags for waving and treats for eating! Sandra was so professional in her dealings and creative in her approach to my 70th birthday party. Unfortunately, because of Covid -19, we had to cancel this well planned event. Because of my wonderful interactions with Main Event Planners, I am looking forward to working with them again soon! I utilized Sandra Vargas’s Main Event Planners’ services in the Spring of 2015 for organizing our FIU AKPsi end of the year gala, and I have to admit that without her we could not have executed such a successful event at the Conrad in Brickell. Sandra helped us negotiate a great rate, and service for our gala in addition to handling all of our interactions with the venue. The guests had a great time, we had a no headaches, and I would most definitely utilize her services again. From the initial meeting to scope out venues to the final touches Sandra handled our gala with the utmost professionalism

I went to Sandra for a small wedding (about 25 people) and she and her team were amazing. She did an initial quote for me based on our initial meeting but after discussing with my family and husband she modified it without complaint. Her team set up and made my day stress free. The only thing I can complain about is it rained for my outdoor beach wedding... lol but Sandra had a contingency plan in place and it was just as beautiful indoors. I struggled with photography needs too. She provided an amazing photographer that was a perfect match to my wants and needs. I highly reccomend Main Event Planners

Sandra worked with my organization on a number of highly creative and labor intensive galas. Among many other details, we guided 200 guests who were wearing blindfolds into a very dark dining room. The guests had a terrific experience and continued to attend in subsequent years. Every detail was managed by Sandra and her team and always with input from our staff. It was a great and successful collaboration.
