In an attempt to support our local agriculture, we are sourcing as much as we can right here on Maui, including coffee, produce, nuts, fish, meats and more. We are currently featuring Kumu Farms local produce. Please visit their website: www.kumufarms.com to view a selection of boxes. Lahaina Yacht Club is a private club and we welcome our LYC members, their guests and reciprocity yacht club members.
When visiting our club, please have your current membership card with you. If not, please talk to your club in advance and/or phone our office during office hours for further details. LYC offers 6 weeks of Junior Sailing Classes during the summer months as well as a School Outreach Sailing Program during the year.

Services
Our junior program has been gaining momentum! Many youth are expressing interests in the sport of sailing. We offer summer classes as well as introductory classes during the school year. Schools that have participated in this program are Seabury Academy, Sacred Hearts in Lahaina, Haleakala Waldorf and Maui Prep to list a few.
The Lahaina Yacht Club Race Team is an exciting program that is focused on bringing the youth sailors on Maui added sailing opportunities both on and off the racecourse. Already the LYC team boasts some of the best sailors in Hawaii. The Race Team is a work in progress and we hope to offer and maintain sailing activities for all ages and experience levels.
Lele is available for day sails for our members. Become an authorized skipper or sign up for a member sail day and we will connect you with an authorized skipper. Lele is the ancient name of Lahaina. As Lahaina was an important way-point for Hawaiians traveling between the islands by canoe & later by ship.
Lele is available to the Lahaina Yacht Club Membership for Day use with an authorized skipper. If you have a group you can book Lele for the day. Please beware, that if there looks like there is space, it may have been reserved and not yet posted. Please check with the office. Once you receive confirmation from the Club office via email, you will be reserved on the day indicated.
We are an informal group of about 70 women who take turns going out on the LYC Olson 30 sailboat (Lele). The sails are once or twice a month and 5 women plus the skipper, Nancy Goode, go on the boat. Susie Lewis maintains an email list of those women interested in the sails. After Nancy schedules the boat for upcoming sails, Susie emails invitations to go sailing to the women on the list.

Great if you're a white old who loves extremely bland food in enormous portions and slow service. I think they were mostly throwing together meals from mostly pre prepared food.
They seem to use pre sliced hamburger cheese for everything including the kids cheese plate and the tacos. Taking the paper off before they cook it is optional.
Servers were friendly and helpful but they needed more staff.
If you can find any way to escape from being dragged here by a club member, do it.

We have been coming here for 25 years. This year service is iffy at best. They are out pricing themselves as a private club.
Today we ordered the Skinny Fries off happy hour menu. I was facing the kitchen and I believe our server took French fries off our order and ate them!!!! AND it's only $1.00 but we were overcharged all days for a Coors Light that the happy hour menu says $3. Bill comes and it's $4. No offer to correct. We pointed it out each time.
If they are looking for new members, "guests" are a prime target. Not going to happen with the service or current pricing. Needs a real happy

Lahaina Yacht Club is a gem. Located right on the water in the heart of Lahaina. The only catch is in order to enter you either have to be a member or be a member of a yacht club with reciprocal privileges.
The dining area is open air, so no need to be vaxxed. Cocktails are good and always taste great when you're looking over the water in your choice of a table in the sun or in the shade of a large umbrella.
Food is usually very good. On our recent lunch-time visit I had an excellent BLT with seared ahi. My wife had a Reuben sandwich which was good, not great. They didn't have Russian

Went there Thursday for lobster night it was fantastic!!What a fun restaurant, yet you feel like you're in a fine dining restaurant with the food and service you get. . The atmosphere is totally Hawaii with a great view of the ocean. Our waiter Phil was very attentive and provided us with outstanding service which is sometimes rare to find any more. Over all the food and especially the service was outstanding and we will definitely be back soon.

Simply put because they don't deserve more of my time to write this, but we were discriminated against and treated VERY poorly upon our arrival. We had a confirmed reservation via phone and text and had the supporting temporary membership requirements. The level of ignorance and disrespect we received is shameful and deplorable. We had four young kids with us that witnessed your racism and prejudice and karma will ultimately haunt you. It's yet another teachable moment for our children so they know how not to be treated, but for your "employees", it's pretty mortifying

Trash. Food is trash. Decor is old and rusty. Service is even worse. I would not eat here again. I saw how they treated a Black family (who had a temporary membership AND A confirmed reservation), i heard the whole conversation....at that point is when I realized that I won't be returning. So deplorable and disgusting.

We were very disappointed, first of all the server had no clue. The Mai tai was the worst one I had since arriving here and it was $14.75. The menu choices were different to say the least. . The four of us were all disappointed in our meals. They didn't have mashed potatoes and the mashed sweet potoroos were horrible. My husband said they can't possible screw up dessert. We ordered the chocolate brownie with gelato on top. Instead It was small piece of chocolate cake with tasteless icing,, a glass next to it with a milk shake with a slice of the cake laying on top of the shake,

Members only though you can also get a table if you are military, a member at another yacht club, etc. Drinks are great. Location is amazing. Service is really good. Dinner food is okay. Lunch food is great. If you can get access, definitely ask to order from the lunch menu. Dinner food is good, but they are trying to create 5 star dishes that just don't cut it.

From one LYC to another (Lakewood Yacht Club), we love visiting The Lahaina YC. The view and ambiance are wonderful--quite with nice music in the background. On this trip we had guacamole, chips, and margaritas to start with. My hubby had the fish (Maui Maui) and chips, and I had the chopped salad. Both were excellent.
Be sure and bring your yacht club membership or you will not get in.

We could not get enough of this place. From the gift shop to the restaurant, this place is fabulous. We had three dinners and one happy hour during our two week stay. Friends of ours live there locally and said they thoroughly enjoyed it too. Everything ordered from all of us from the lobster dinner, shrimp, scallops, prime rib to steak dinner, it was good said by all. The view is amazing and the service is top notch. We will be back again. One of the best YC's we have visited during our vacations. We will be back!
