Southaven Kawasaki Yamaha began innocently enough in the late 1960's as Mid South Cycle City - the brain child of Mr. Bob McClain. Bob was the go-to guy in motorcycling in the 60's. The shop was built in it's current location on Whitworth Drive as a small Kawasaki sales and service facility. In 1970 Mr. Brad Vandivere and Mr. Jim Dendy purchased the shop from Mr. McClain and began to slowly grow the business.

Another great motorcycle dealership that treats you with respect. I told them "y'all are real nice and I appreciate you helping me out and letting me look at your ATVs and motorcycles.
They didn't worry me either with a whole bunch of questions either. They were friendly and helpful and even gave me directions to another dealerships. I have to come to Memphis to look at motorcycles because there are none where I live.
I did like the new 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle up front for $8600. I might think about that one. I even took a picture of it.

Total rip off, plus bad attitude and bad service to boot. My bike had sat in the garage for about a year without driving and although nothing was wrong with it I decided to bring it in for a tune up anyway. The shop held my bike for over two weeks, saying they lost an employee. And moreover they didn't even give me a receipt when I left it with them. Who does that? When it was finally ready after pushing them to finish, the bill was $480, $300 of which was for labor described as "cleaned carbs, cleaned out tank, new battery". Unethical rip off. Sorry, but true. They need to
