Services
I am a studio light photographer based out of Los Angeles, specializing in maternity, newborn and baby photography with my wife, Jess. My style is organic and textured with an emphasis on beautiful light and shadows. My goal in each session is to capture emotion and deliver images that will make you smile and tear up every time you see that photograph.
A custom newborn portraiture session with Matt Cramer Photography begins at $1295. The average investment per client typically ranges from $1600-$2400. All our newborn collections are all inclusive and include a set amount of fully retouched, hand edited high resolution digital files delivered via digital download, with rights for personal reprint.
Nothing gives us more artistic satification than capturing images of your sweet newborn. We thrive on creating a work of art where your brand new baby is the purest of subjects. It truly drives us during each and every session to capture your baby in the most beautiful light and the most luxurious, organic inspired set ups.
It is never too early to get on our newborn photo shoot schedule! Most clients book with us in the second or third trimester of their pregnancy. We only accept a limited amount of newborns each month to account for the extra wiggle room we need in our calendar to accomodate each baby's arrival. Generally, we are booked for newborn sessions 4-6 weeks in advance.
Matt is such a talented photographer! He captured such beautiful little details and the pictures are truly so classy, nothing cheesy or cheap with the backgrounds or props! Jessica does an amazing job styling with the props and wraps; she is a baby whisperer, too!
The pictures were more than I could have ever hoped for and I am sooo thankful to have this beautiful docmentation of my little guy because one day he will tower over me with a deep voice and face full of scruff, and it will be hard to remember just how tiny and soft he started out!Thank you Matt and Jess for such wonderful memories!

I highly recommend Matt Cramer Photography! Matt and Jess are an incredible team and have a very artistic style. Looking at their portfolio, I knew their photos were amazing, but I was truly blown away by the final images of my son. I made the mistake of not booking newborn photos ahead of time, but luckily they were able to get me in a last minute opening. Even though my son was almost 4 weeks old, they were still able to capture the newborn phase. I’m so thankful I didn’t miss out!

HIGHLY recommend Matt and Jess. We had an incredible experience for our newborn photos as well as a few photos with our toddler too. Jess is truly a toddler/baby whisperer and Matt captures it all in such a beautiful way. We couldn’t be any happier with the entire experience and the photos were stunning.

The BEST! We had such a wonderful experience with our first born that there was no question that we would book another session for baby #2. Jess is such a warm and loving soul, she is fantastic with babies. I was so confident that Jess would take great care of the little one and make perfect artistic choices that I opted to have hubby take the baby to the shoot while I took a well needed break! Our experience with Matt and Jess was easy and wonderful. I contacted them on short notice and was fortunate enough they had availability. The studio is in their beautiful, welcoming and warm home. My husband and I immediately hit it off with Matt and Jess, they were an absolute joy to talk with and made us feel comfortable. It was scary to book a photoshoot during the pandemic but they had many protocols in place to ensure the safety of our family. They were calm and trusting. Matt and Jess are the best husband and wife duo! My husband Pat and I wanted to get professional pictures of our first baby Xavier. Luckily Matt and Jess appeared on the google and after many back and forth… e-mails we knew they were the ones to take care of Baby X’s professional photos . My story...our baby girl was 6 weeks early and born at 4lbs. She had to spend 5 days in NICU which turned into 25 days after she contacted MERSA at the hospital. Needless to say when we got her home we were thrilled and so thankful. We took so many photos but it was impossible to capture how tiny she was and her beautiful features...even though I have portrait mode on my phone!

Matt Cramer Photography is phenomenal! Matt and his partner/wife Jessica are tremendously talented and total professionals to be sure, but they are also amazingly genuine, sweet and loving people. The did newborn shots of my son and just recently completed sitting up shots and both times, my husband and I were blown away by how gorgeous the photos were.
