Mountain Village RV Park is owned and operated by Jim Hendricks. He and his late wife Betty, built the RV Park in 1999. Long time residents of Scott Valley, they wanted to provide a way for RVers to experience our beautiful hidden valley in Siskiyou County in the comfort of your own traveling home.
We have taken great care in providing a clean and beautiful park for your enjoyment. We have also provided all the conveniences you will need to make your stay with us comfortable. Being aware that many of our RV friends are communicating with friends and family by internet these days, we have provided WI-FI for our RV guest with no charge.

I guess it's safe to say we LOVE this place. :-) Came for a week and stayed a month and a half! We're section hiking the PCT so bump along in our "base camp" RV. Typically stay at a place a week or two (at most) and then it's time to move on and hike the next section or two, then move on again. But Shanna and the ladies at the Shell made it impossible to leave. So nice! And grassy, partially shaded, quiet sites with a little store, huge clean laundry, and the nice little town of Etna and all of its ammenities right here. Was definitely worth the longer commutes to the farther trailheads to just

I went in for a propane fill and was told I’d have to wait until noon, an hour later. I stuck around until noon and then was told I would have to wait until 3:00pm due to workers near the propane tank. At 2:00pm, the workers went to lunch, so I asked again if I could get propane while the workers were gone. They said I’d have to wait until after 3:00. Needless to say, I got a little angry and left! Oh, and don’t use their laundromat either. You have to buy a card for $1:00, then load money onto it in increments of $1:00. For a $2.25 wash, you have to spend $4.00!
And, you can’t get close

We've been staying here for the summer and have had a wonderful experience.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. In a good location to resturants, churches, and community events. Super clean and had no trouble fitting our 42' RV with 4 slides. Lots of grass. A cute play yard for the kids, very clean bathrooms. Great internet service and free cable TV channels. Propane service at noon daily, next to a gas station and store. Dollar General is near by as well.
Very impressed.♡

Great RV park. We were there this past Mother’s Day weekend visiting friends in Fort Jones. I could see this park being a little crowded if it were full. We had the place darn near to ourselves and it was awesome! Beautiful park with all the amenities. Shell gas/convenience station with diesel is were you check in. Make sure you check out Denny’s bar and restaurant in town! A renovated historical sight, now a vodka, gin and bourbon distillery. Great food with tours and tasting. A definite must visit.

I would have given this Very Nice RV Park a "5 Star"....however their Public Showers have NO Hot Water.....it was nice to Take a Shower in a Crispy Clean Restroom....however....Both my Wife and I had a Very Cold showers....Brrrrr. This facility is in a Great Location. Check-in is at the Shell Station/Convenient Store. Each Site is Gravel, but level, pic-nic tables, grass, Close by Laundry Facility. My Wife and I will definitely return. Pet Friendly, but may have Breed Restrictions :-)

We've stayed in RV spots, and also just rented one of their park model units. It has always been a positive experience. We loved the lovely and clean park model unit. It's comfortable and provides great amenities. Cute, clean, and comfortable. Great spot to stay in beautiful country. Quiet ambiance.

I've been here now for a little over 2 weeks and my opinion of the place has slightly changed. It is still a nice place quiet and safe. But they still have not fix the wi-fi problem and the men's bathroom has been out of toilet paper for the better part bye week. PCT hikers also use the facility there is a trail of dirt from them that has now been on the bathroom floor for 3 days.

Excellent RV park! Very QUIET. Full hook-ups. Very friendly! Free hot showers. The main guy that runs the place is Tim and he is always available to help with anything, or talk your ear off with his crack-up stories. Thanks Tim!!!!!
We stayed here for 3 days during July 2012 for the Bluegrass Festival on a whim after dry-camping near Mt. Shasta. We called them and they were very nice on the phone, so we made a reservation for 3-4 nights. They said that if we decide to leave early it's no problem. We got the Good Sam discount. When we checked in, they forgot to give us the discount (I didn
