Our Aim is to provide the best Jiu-Jitsu Instruction in an atmosphere that everyone feels at home. In 2013 Professor Mike and his wife Lucia started a program for friends and family in their Garage! It kept growing and growing! Now we have a gym full of young, old, beginners, advanced and many more!
In this program, we teach the kiddos the core fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu while reinforcing all of the values of the martial art. They won't just learn self-defense, but also discipline, respect, integrity, social skills and much more. This program dives a bit deeper into the techniques of Jiu-Jitsu as the kids are old enough to comprehend them.
This gym is the real deal. Excellent coaches with an incredible attention to detail, great atmosphere, and a wonderful team environment. From the minute you enter Magness BJJ, they make you feel like you're part of a big family. Michael Magness is an awesome instructor. Everyone at the gym is always very friendly and helpful working with new students with no experience.

Coming from out of state and from a gym with a different vibe, Magness was an easy fit once I joined. Regardless of being new to the area and this gym, the coaches and all members were incredibly helpful and more than welcoming. Whether you’re looking for a workout, strengthen skills for work, or competition, Magness has a crazy quality of talent and coaches that are here to help. Come try a class!

Magness BJJ is a quality spot for anybody to train Jiu-Jitsu, their instructors are professional but not up-tight and are always willing to help. The kids classes are energetic and inclusive and it is a safe environment for people of all fitness levels to learn the sport at any skill level. Highly recommend participating in their trial to test it out!

Magness has a quality studio with consistent training and excellent leadership. Had two children attend for 8 months. They are getting stronger in character and body. Can attend 4 times per week for one fee. The classes are in the evening so I can take the kids after school/work. They play at the end of every session so the kids leave happy and worn out, wanting to come back. Been super happy with our experience. We chose this after inconsistency with soccer leagues/coaches in the area and poor sportsmanship demonstrated by parents. The parents stay out of the coaching at Magness studio so the

My son and daughter have been training here for two years. The instruction here has developed their Jiu Jitsu and prepared them to compete. We see a noticeable increase in their self confidence and focus as they improve their skills. I am extremely impressed by Coach Michael and Coach Shelia after seeing the way they work with the kids during class and competition.

Our son has trained at Magness BJJ for over three years now. The coaches instill confidence and self-discipline in the kids. After sitting in school all day, our little man needs a place to run around and release all of his pent up tension. This is the place to do it! My seven- and five-year-old have been training at Magness BJJ Academy for approximately 10 months. My husband and I appreciate the family friendly atmosphere, patience, and skill of the coaches. My babies were extremely nervous and somewhat unsure when they first began, however, I began to see an improvement in their skills and overall confidence after a few months of attending. The coaches focus on safe and efficient training, but are aware and extremely responsive to your child’s needs. We highly recommend Magness BJJ.

We've been taking our two little boys (5 & 6) to Magness BJJ for a little over 6 months and all we can say is WOW! They love it, we love it! All the instructors/coaches work very well with children, we feel very comfortable there. Parents and coaches have been very friendly since day 1. The boys have learned so many skills and lessons in the past six months and have become more confident, we can definitely tell a difference. This gym is amazing! They have a morning class and an evening class during the week so it fits into my schedule perfectly.
Coach magness is a great coach. He breaks everything down and makes it really easy to understand the techniques. He gave me a free week to try out the gym and I loved it.
They have all skill levels from beginners to high level pros. I highly recommend anyone interested in learning jiujitsu to come check it out.
