So far my 11 year old has been here since 8/21/20.
I can't really relate to the other reviews.
The staff has always been VERY respectful to me. Much nicer then these people in Chicago. They are very well mannered. They always have returned my calls in a very timely manner.
My daughter seems to be happy overall. She has been aggressive a few times, and I never feel like they have unrealistic discipline.
I also do like that they offer zoom for family therapy. It is much nicer to see people in person.
This is coming from a very INVOLVED parent, who has had to move mountains to get her help.

I’m going to be honest with you this facility is more of a place for children who’s parents want to get them out of their face and forget about them .or dhs kids who have no one .if u don’t care what happpens to your kid and don’t really care about keeping in touch with them after care this is the perfect place ..many of the MHPPs have NO experience with traumatized children ..

I was a patient here for five months it was horrible. I was not treated well and had some injuries and health issues when I was there and the staff never got appointments set up for me to go see theses doctor's. When I got out of the hospital i ended up going to the doctor to get seen and i found out I have hurt my right arm my left leg but my injuries were not treated when I was there. Please never send any kid here there is a lot more worse stuff that happens behind those closed doors if you love your kids don't even think about getting them help here it's like hell on earth.

You would think the woman here will be nice and loving no they the worst ones have the nastiest attitudes , once you call to check on your child to see if your kid is doing better they hand up in your face than block your number mind you they have a attitude with you the whole time like you’re bothering them, the female staff

This is from a patient point of view.
I was a resident their for 5 months DO NOT EVER SEND SOMEONE THEIR! The food is undercooked or burnt to a crisp the staff are rude, harsh, and WILL LOOSE YOU CHILDS VALUABLES! But there is one and only one good thing that I know Ms. Brandi. She is a therapist there and has done good for me. But the staff there need help the shots are veary painful and if you get into a restraint they will make shure you get hurt. I say again IF YOU HAVE A SOUL AMD OR BREATHING DO NOT SEND YOUR KID THERE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE!!!

I was placed here as a foster care placement because they happened to have an open bed. My first night there, that bed turned out to be swarming with bed bugs. It took them a week to get someone in to exterminate them and remove the bed. Not the best first impression, and it gets much worse. There's a reason we called this place the Misery Mill. It's a for-profit that is designed to keep you there for as long as possible so they can keep billing your insurance. They entice bullying and fighting by packing anywhere between 12-18 boys or girls into a single small living area and letting them go wild

If you have a child that needs help with social problems, if you have a child that is destructive, is violent, is verbally abusive, a child that hurts animals, hurts themself or you or starts fires then, this is the place for them. If you are a parent that will call and check up on how your kid is and their progress and you truly care these people are great and attentive. They will answer questions and they will call you back and keep you posted. There are about 16 to 19 kids in each cottage. They are children and teens that all struggle with behavioral issues. Some have been neglected and abandoned
