Smith grew up in Spokane, Washington and attended University High School. He then finished his undergraduate education at Carroll College in Helena, Montana where he met his wife, completed an honors thesis on breast cancer research, and graduated with the honors of magna cum laude.
We listen to you and offer treatment options that are right for your specific needs. Dr. Smith and his team understand the impact that healthy skin can have on every aspect of patients' lives. Mohs micrographic surgery is considered the most effective technique for treating many basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) and squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs), the two most common types of skin cancer.

First time visit and truly the most positive medical experience ever. Arrived a little early as suggested. Paperwork was easy to complete. Doctor Smith took time to explain diagnosis and treatment. Appointment was at 10:15 and I was walking out the door at 10:20 having been seen and treated by doctor Smith.
Staff was very friendly and efficient.

If you have systemic disease, I do not recommend. May be great if you need Botox or fillers? Dr. Smith's approach and complete disregard in listening to his patient is a tragedy. You sir, need more education in MCAS. LOOK IT UP! I've since seen by my Rheumatologist, that agreed systematic disease is not Dr. Smith's forte. For these reasons I do recommend.

Loved my visit from start to finish! The office was warm and inviting. The employees were all very kind and helpful. The Dr. took time with us to make sure my son was helped with his skin issues, that all our questions were answered and we understood everything. I was highly impressed and even my 14 year old said “I really liked the Dr there!” Great experience and I would highly recommend!

I’ve gone to Valley Dermatology since moving here in 2017 and have been pleased with every visit. The staff are courteous and professional, and take the time to address concerns and questions. The location is convenient. I was self pay while changing insurance coverage and the costs were very reasonable. Highly recommend.
