This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, please save yourself the headache. This is my first time ever taking the time to write a negative review. There are multiple 1 star reviews essentially saying the same thing. The owner is very kind and friendly at first but once you give him the money and need say something like an inspection done, then he never picks up your calls or answers your texts. You have to go to your local town hall and have them contact him.

I am so happy with the work of Countryside Chimney. I contacted them based on a referral from a neighbor, and could not be happier with their work and their service. Work on my chimney was not exactly straightforward, due to how my house was designed, and James clearly communicated with me at each step to make sure I understood what needed to happen and what any work would cost. Countryside Chimney is the best chimney service I have encountered. Chimney service in northern NJ is much less than good honest business, as most people know... I have cycled through 3 or 4 services through the years and have been either disappointed or marginally satisfied for the service. James Fox provides his services in a professional manner and he does this with particular attention to the client situation and needs. I am an architect, so I recognize his sensitivity, his process, and the quality of his work.

James Fox the owner was fantastic. He explained the entire process of rebuilding my chimney and installation of our new liner. His workers were friendly, lined the floor so there wasn't a mess and cleaned up everything. A great experience! Highly recommend them! Professional, courteous and an overall great company.
