The founder of Effective Guard Professionals wanted to create a company that raised the bar in the security and safety industry. Her story is simple. While raising 5 children our founders' first desire to improve security needs started with sending her children to school. Her interest in security, unfortunately, started in 1999 when news reports reached her that there had been a school shooting.
Unlike Allied Universal, Effective Guard Professionals started with a mothers feeling of helplessness and her determination to provide effective guarding as status quo to the industry. Our mission is to have 100% of our clients 100% satisfied and safe. Our founder, with her beliefs, has created a legacy through her leadership that is changing the industry.
Our services starts with professionalism in our administration and management team. We start by identifying a clients security needs and move forward by implementing a personalized plan of action for each individual client. We then take that information and apply it directly to a team of highly trained unarmed or armed guards that have the capability to do, virtually, any service needed.
Effective Guard Professionals believes that you are only as good as your weakest link. We have worked internally and externally to identify that knowledge will keep our company strong, reliable, and competitive. This firm of professionals started with a mothers feeling of helplessness wanting to protect her children and has grown into an acclaimed firm that has is leaving a legacy for those children she wanted to protect.
6 Hour - Introductory class that covers the basics of becoming an Unarmed Security Guard (Non Commissioned). With the completion of this class and certificate, you can work anywhere legally in the state of Texas as an entry level Security Guard once approved by the Texas Private Security Bureau. This required course by the State of Texas provides training material issued by the TXPSB.

We used a different security company at first after receiving a proposal from EGP. We quickly regreted it and called to see if they still had availability on our 8 month project. They did! It has been about a year now and they are still consistent and professional. We had no loses on that project and are now using them on our next. The staffis very professional and the guards are very effective.

We have been using Effective Professionals for about 6 months now and I have been extremely pleased so far. We had a break-in during the time our guard was not here and by time I was notified, the security guard had already secured the area and called the police on our behalf. The staff is very courteous and kind!! I cannot recommend them enough!!

I had a need for a security service last minute for the Memorial Day Holiday and called around. Luckily I picked Effective Professionals and was taken care of very quickly and professionally. The guard came out before the assignment and checked in with us and everything went perfect for the weekend. Very good experience with EP, very good price also. We will definitely use them again.

Wow really odd. i saw a job posting online for this place. was friendly and called for the position. sent in my resume and i call back my phone number is BLOCKED. i know because i called from my other number. i cant make this up this is today 12/15/20 this place is shady i talked to someone named "alexis" who literally told me to stop by in person. then block my number when i call back for address? what kind of game is that. they post for jobs in austin but have no address for the location only an address in DALLAS. totally weird and rude something is up with this place. avoid.

We contacted the owner last Saturday. I was surprised to see that someone actually connected us to her on a Saturday. This company was recommended by a colleague of ours. She provided us 24 hour coverage last minute on the same day! We have had an Effective Guard for the last week and the service has been professional and great. I would recommend this company to any one who needs a professional guard company.

I was in need of security guard service for a High Level Construction Site Project. A close friend has used Effective for the last 3 years across many projects and recommended them to me. This is by far the most professional, dedicated, and courteous guard service that I have ever worked with. I would give them 6 stars if I could. I will never use another guard service. We needed, last minute, a security guard for our HOA meeting. Effective Guard Professionals was the only service we contacted that had availability on short notice. I spoke with the owner of EGP and she was very nice and understanding of our needs. The guard showed up on time, was very nice, courteous, and professional. EGP was also reasonably priced. We really appreciate EGP.

I have a small beauty supply store and needed security for grand opening. The security guard company I planned to use previously had to cancel unexpectedly and I was left without guards for the night. I called Michelle at Effective Guard early during the day and she sent a guard to my event that same night. Her rates are reasonable and the guard was professional. I ended up contracting with her on a regular basis. I recommend this company!
