We have been patients of Dr McQuillian and his office for about two years with insurance changes. Dr. M and his staff are courteous and nice. The one thing that I would ask is more guidance and direction from the optical technician, when taking the different tests. Moving a chair around in a dark room when you are mature without your glasses was challenging for me, my balance, and my eyesight. The glasses purchasing process can be slow and time consuming for some; we just ask for more information, patience, and understanding in the future...

Had been looking for a new OD and unfortunately had to have a piece of rusty metal removed from my left eye and the office said come right in we will see you. Even knowing I was a new patient. He removed the piece out of my eye with such care that I had absolutely no discomfort. Looks like I found my new New OD. I'll be back in a week for my eye check up appointment. Thanks Doc.

I started going to Dr. McQuillan last fall. I will never go anywhere else! He and his staff are kind and helpful. Dr. McQuillan's expertise helped me get a better prescription than the previous doctor, and later he helped me understand the ins and outs of cataract surgery. He obviously loves his profession and he takes the time to answer any questions. He's the best!

I have to start by saying that Dr. McQuillan is GREAT! Very thorough and so helpful. He has a great sense of humor and makes you feel at ease as soon as he walks into the room. His staff on the other hand are terrible. They provide zero customer service and always seem to be annoyed. Dr. McQuillan deserves a staff as special as he is! I highly recommend Dr. McQuillan but brace yourself for attitude and unpleasant vibes while you are waiting for him. Dr. McQuillan =5 Stars....Staff= 0 Stars.

If you have Davis Vision as vision insurance, please realize the timeline to get the glasses and the quality is out of the offfice’s hands. They do the best that they can.to coordinate and support, but Davis Vision glasses take 3-4 weeks when sent to their labs, and there may be issues with the quality and the order. Again, nothing to do with the office, and want to set expectations fairly

My husband was recently having issues with his eyes and also having headaches. He called Dr. McQuillan, who was unable to see him because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. He recommended that my husband see a specialist and gave him all of the contact information necessary to make the appointment. The next day Dr. McQuillan called my husband to see if he had been able to get an appointment and to check on the status of the evaluation. Dr. McQuillan even left his personal cell phone number to ensure that my husband could reach him.

I love this doctor. He is well mannered and reserved but has a dry sense of humor. Like me! The staff is very attentive and very welcoming soon as you enter the door. I not only come here for staff but for the quality of lenses. Zeiss (I'm sure spelled wrong) is by far a superior product and beats all those 1-hour lens c rafters, Walmarts, and Costco cheap lenses.

I just had my first visit with Dr McQuillan for my 13 year old son, & if I could give his office 10 stars, I would! I was referred to him through my last Optometrist who no longer accepted our insurance. We’ve gone through 5 or 6 Optometrists Iver the last decade & never felt great confidence in any of them. We did not have a good experience wit Dr. McQuillan. My daughter was suffering from pretty serious PCS with vision issues and we drove from SB in a recommendation. The assessment made her feel awful, the Dr. did not listen to her when she said something was too much - and just said the treatment would probably make her barf - re she better toughen up.
I requested an assessment report and did not get anything and now I get marketing texts and emails which I have asked to have stopped to no avail.
If your child has serious PCS you might need someone more gentle.

Dr. McQuillan is an exceptional Dr., educator, and a great human being. He loves what he does and it shows through his great patient care. His office staff are friendly, sweet, and very helpful. I would like to start off with the pros. They have a very friendly staff who are happy to assist you as soon as you walk in the door. Jessica is always ready to help with a smile on her face. The only thing that is really annoying and frustrating thing is (and the reason they're only getting two stars) that i had boughten my eyeglasses from them, and when i went to pick them up i had my contacts in so i didn't really bother checking to see if it was the "right" prescription. I've been a patient for several years ! The staff front desk n Lizzy have been so nice .. Always a pleasant visit !! The Dr. And his staff particularly Lizzie, have been awesome. I had a viral infection in both eyes and they have been caring for me during that time. They squeeze me in on short notice and have done everything they can for me during this stubborn problem.
