I was originally told it was an 8 month waitlist, but about a month later they were able to see my son, who is 7. The therapist, Kristen(?), was amazing at the intake. I will update my review as we go through the process, but after fighting for two years to find a family counselor or someone my son could talk to, it was a huge relief to be taken in by this facility.

I started treatment here over 14 years ago, I left in 2014 with good reason. In 2018 my care was transferred back to LRMHC. It has been 3 years now and during this time I have had 3 different therapists, 7 different case managers and 2 different med providers. The turnaround at this facility is a great indicator for how they treat their staff and clients. God forbid you have a mental health crisis, you will get thrown into the annex at laconia hospital without question. Their "policies" are undermining and detrimental at times. The chief operating officer, Maggie Pritchard, allowed a covid positive

They do get some good professionals I've been seeing them for 13 years and got so good therapist and case managers but there is a lot of their employees that treat u like a paycheck and has been making my mental health spiral out of control and they refuse to listen and the higher up doesn't even have respect for their clients

Lakes region mental health center just took away my therapist who I’ve been working with for months because “I’m not in their catchment area.” They don’t care what happens to me, they don’t care about the relationship my therapist and I have built, they don’t care that I’m an RN working on the front lines during a pandemic, they don’t care that I have nowhere else to go. I just have to go somewhere else. Individual therapists here are great, but the management, administration, and operating officer do not care about the people they are supposed to help, all they care about is

LRMH or previously known as Genesis, has always been a nice place. I've been coming here since August of 2016, and I had a therapist steadily for 3 years straight. Although she did end up leaving to another facility. The staff are very kind, but they can be fleeting, always losing people and hiring others. I love their FSS program, I had one woman for about a year, and another for the same amount, but she also eventually left. While it's a great atmosphere that accepts welfare they need more parking.
