We are a member owned Club that was founded in 1988. Our piece of paradise is located in Stuart, Florida and is often referred to as "the sailfish capital of the world." We are on the Manatee Pocket, just minutes from the St. Lucie Inlet and the Intra-Coastal Waterway. The Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club has an active Cruising Program, a wide range of social activities, and a 25 slip marina.

You do not need to be a boat owner to join. If you have a passion for boating and water-related activities, enjoy an active social life, and want to find out more, please contact us. Membership in the Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club comes with the added privilege of reciprocity from many other yacht clubs.
Services
The St. Lucie River and the Intracoastal Waterway (AICW) cross at a place near Mile Marker 877.5 called the Crossroads. When traveling on the Intracoastal Waterway or returning from the Atlantic through the St. Lucie Inlet proceed West on the St. Lucie River to Green marker 7. Adjacent to that mark is the entrance to Manatee Pocket at Sandsprit Park.
At the turn of the century, Stuart enjoyed the sailing and social benefits of the St. Lucie River Yacht Club. In 1926 the club was destroyed by a hurricane. It wasn't until 1988 that five like-minded yachtsmen gathered at a local restaurant to conduct a founders meeting and restore a yacht club to Stuart.
The Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club has a well deserved reputation for being an active cruising yacht club. Whether you are a novice boater or an "old salt, " our cruising program fits all sizes. Every month our "fleet" cruises to different ports of call, with a complete itinerary planned by the Fleet Captain or Cruise Leader.
Our social calendar is always full at Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club. We're more than a yacht club! We offer an active social calendar that reflects the many interests of our club members. Traditional events include the Commodore's Ball, Change of Watch, holiday parties, dinners, and brunches. Our theme parties are legendary.
Our membership comes with the added privilege of reciprocity from many other yacht clubs under our agreements as well as membership in the Yachting Club of America. Regular members enjoy all of the benefits of a member-owned and operated private Club, including voting rights, the pleasure of holding office, chairing committees, and the priority use of a Club slip when available at reasonable rates.

This venue is such a treasure for Stuart. Not only are the views amazing and the parking excellent, the staff is top notch! Hosting an event with a large number of people this is the place to be. Plus member Wednesdays is a huge perk for those who commit to joining; boat or not. Thank you Lisa and team for all you did to make our recent realtors function such a success!
