For many people, transitioning from work to retirement is one of the most stressful times in their lives. We create financial planning for executives, business owners, and individuals within 5-10 years of retirement. It is the foundation for a retirement strategy that is organized, tax-efficient, and inclusive of your preferences and goals.

How do you know that your retirement strategy isn't creating a tax nightmare? Your account values may look appealing on paper, but what does the picture look like after your distributions are taken, net of tax? This is a critical question and unfortunately one that few address. When you're already retired is not the ideal time to start.

My journey to build Prudent started when my dad was given the opportunity to retire and take his pension or a buy out from his company with some additional options. After I finished up the analysis, I realized that the landscape of retirement planning was changing forever. We were leaving the golden age of pensions, and now entering the age of the 401K.
Our first meeting for family wealth planning is our Foundation Dialogue Meeting. This is a get to know you meeting where we discuss many different areas of your situation at a high level. We begin with a quick discussion of what brought you in to meet with us. Next, we'll spend some time on your goals and about 30 minutes reviewing your Personal Values Questionnaire.
An Executive's responsibilities typically do not end when the Retirement bell goes off. The majority will continue to have family, work, and philanthropic goals. Integrating your executive benefits can be quite complex with the numerous strategy options available, and choosing the right one isn't always an easy choice.
The Custom Wealth Architect is a deep diving comprehensive look at everything in your financial house. We develop a financial planning strategy. Many times we are weighing out the impact of multiple options to determine which fits best for you. We also realize that many times it's not just the financial aspects that will influence your decisions, but the impact those decisions may have on family.
The Society for Financial Awareness is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation. Our mission is to provide financial education across America, one community at a time. We truly enjoy giving back and we wanted to do something more fulfilling than to donate money to various Charities.

One of the ways that we do this is through free Society for Social Awareness informational Educational Workshops that are presented to our local Libraries, Companies, and Organizations. These events are designed to Educate and help attendees understand and address a variety of financial topics and concerns.
