While my passion has always been for design, I spent the last decade building my foundation in construction. As a project manager, I have a true understanding of how things are built and the process behind them. I led projects at world-renowned institutions and hospitals throughout Boston, including MIT, Boston Children's Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
I also had the privilege to work alongside top-tier architects to bring their designs to life. Sara at Tailored Home Design is AWESOME! I can't say enough good things about her. She listened to what we wanted, she was creative and came up with ideas that would not only look beautiful, but would also function well for ours needs. She also makes it easy from start to finish and nailed my style! We moved 6 months ago into a home that we absolutely LOVE and wanted to do it right with the decor. Sara has done 3 rooms so far and my only regret is not having her design my whole house from the get go. She's fantastic and also affordable!

I worked with Sara at Tailored Home Design to help me design my son’s nursery. I knew I wanted to do something nautical themed, but I’m not very creative, so I wasnt able to put my vision together. I started by showing Sara a rug and a crib sheet that I liked, and she ran with the design from there. Within just a couple of days, I had three different nursery room layouts with paint colors, furniture, and decor options to choose from! The hardest part was choosing which one I liked best - each one was slightly different than the next but they all reflected the ideas I had shared with Sara. She
