Services
God has strategically placed Camp Pinnacle's 880-acre facility at the top of the scenic Helderberg Mountains, overlooking the Capital District of New York State to impact many people for Christ. The purpose of Pinnacle Ministries is to share Christ's message, make disciples, and enhance the ministry of the local church by partnering with them and other ministries.
Our offerings include programs for children and youth, ages 5-16, which vary from day camp, extended day camp, to overnight camp. In addition to all of the "camp favorites" like swimming, arts and crafts, basketball, volleyball, and hiking, we offer multiple specialty camps made for you! We had such an amazing summer camp!
Camp Pinnacle is an ideal place for your Christian Retreat. We have three separate campuses and over 40 buildings and accommodations for over 250 to sleep comfortably. You'll find you can hold meetings, sleep, eat and play to your heart's content. So whether it is solitude to hear God's still small voice or adventure to grow your faith, Camp Pinnacle has plenty to offer.
We believe in the richness of community life and service to others in Christ's kingdom! It helps all of us mature and gives a great sense of satisfaction and purpose to partner with Christ for the sake of the world He loves. You can use your talents for anything from housekeeping, food service and grounds care, to repairs, maintenance, office, construction and instructor positions.
Horse Camp is a week-long adventure with riding lessons in our outdoor arena, hands-on horse management, and trail rides depending on skill level. Our goal is to help campers learn all about horses and their care in a safe, fun and relaxed atmosphere. We teach riders of all experience levels from beginners to advanced.

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. Absolute letdown, especially after reading thru these positive reviews. We arrive at the dorm room to find disgusting cat vomit splattered across the plastic mattress (and did I mention there were no bedsheets?) After paying a good amount of money which was supposed to go to a fun little trip for my hard working family and I, we ended up with food poisoning or just a loss of appetite because of what they served us. Frankly, will never be returning and I advise others NOT to waste their money on this trash dump.

Beautiful place where you can get closer to God and the staff there are wonderful. I always look forward to summer and winter camp. The rooms are really nice, they remind me of a mini hotel! If you ever have any problems the staff is always there to help and they make you feel like youre right at home. The food is amazing and the showers are actually hot! The view is amazing and the cross is beautiful. There are always activities to do and I never leave wishing I hadn't gone.

I used to go here every year as a kid, now I take my youth group here for private camps every winter and summer. It is a great facility for young people to be able to connect with each other and God! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. There are so many activities in both the winter and summer time you can hardly fit them all in!

This is basically my summer childhood. The counselors are nice. The food tastes THE BEST. The cabins are clean, there are fun activities that are always tied with God. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Totally recommend it. If you like Camp Pinnacle please write a review as the stars are below what it should be.(edit) Camp Pinnacle has super nice counselors, and it helps you grow spiritually and physically with the fun activities. There is a wide variety if activities from survival skills to sign language. I love this place.

I worked here as a counselor a few years ago and spent most of my childhood buzzing around the property with the director's son...so call me biased if you will! This camp is amazing, whether its for summer camp or a church retreat. Food is 10/10. Camp has over 800 acres of land and is absolutely gorgeous. It sits way up on a hill overlooking the city of Albany!
