The 2nd floor houses the Bower City Ballroom which is ideal for ceremonies of any type. Also on the second floor, the Second Empire Room, although smaller, is a perfect size for a bridal suite, small group meeting or small seminar. The Venue also has a prep area located on the second floor, for the licensed and insured caterer of your choice to use.
The Venue, which opened in the summer of 2015 after a meticulous renovation, is the perfect spot for your upcoming wedding. This charming Second Empire style building was originally built in 1870 and is located in the heart of historic downtown Janesville.

We had our wedding at The Venue during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event coordinator, Teryn, did a phenomenal job of keeping us up to date on all the latest changes and mandates. She worked with us during all the planning and made the stress of wedding planning so much lighter. We couldn't have asked for a better venue. All of our guests were comfortable and raved about how beautiful the location was. We were able to pick up all of our decor a few days after our event to let us recover from the chaos of the day. I couldn't imagine having our perfect day anywhere else.

We went to a wedding and reception last Saturday and could not believe how beautiful the building is inside and out! The auditorium looked to be 3 stories high with seating on a second floor overlooking the stage/front. Elevators have been added along with 2 levels of a outdoor patio area. We would highly recommend this "The Venue" in Janesville! I
