Gizmos Fun Factory

I went here with my friends and it was super nice. Our rental locker got stuck, but service helped us nicely and quickly so we can go have some fun. I recommend getting the $40 wristband.

Great place for fun. So the deals don't work while kids are on winter break. Lame. Other than that the place is fun. I wish the staff would have the older kids slow down from running around. Nobody was supervising the entire night and Im not going to parent other kids. One draw back was the drinks at the kitchen. We tried to order soda and they tell you to get it from the vending machine. The vending machines only takes singles.. They didn't have many singles at the kitchen so it was pizza with two pops for 8 people. Soo yea.. We did have fun. Kids enjoyed it.

What an absolute disaster this place has become. From awful staff to broken games and terrible changes in game settings, I'm left with nothing nice to say about this place. I can offer plenty of criticisms, however:

THE GAMES:

1. Flying Tickets was changed by staff to reduce its ticket payout considerably. The fun of the game is that you encounter both green and red tubes, with the green tubes being worth 1 ticket and the red tubes being worth 5. Staff has changed the settings so that there are no red tubes. The end result is the most monotonous game of all time, where you simply fly a bird

Great place for kids, we were there 4 hours! Food was very tasty and really reasonably priced too. All the staff were great as well! Really considering having my sons 6th birthday here in a month

Terrible experience and customer service!!! Me and my husband decided to host my sons second birthday party here, the staff is rude including the managers and very unorganized. I had to keep leaving the room to ask for stuff that should have already been in the party room. The host assigned to my party room had an attitude and refused to give my party guests their wrist bands after I had already paid for the party and wrist bands. This was the worst party experience that I have ever had at a amusement park, terrible! And the mangers did nothing to accommodate us!

Okay I took my Grands here, it was okay for Children and some adults. The children were really enjoying there time here. Please REGISTER before you get there PLEASE. Unless you like jumping in and out of line walking over to the Computer. I got a coupon on Groupon. Thank me later

Staff was very nice. Toddler area was a joke nobody to monitor what size kids were in each area. Some games didn't work please just put a do not use sign. They need to maintain their soap and handsanitizers and drinks were expensive. Overall the kids still had fun but not enough for little ones to do.

Great atmosphere for kids!!! Family friendly environment and great Asian ginger wings; the nachos were great also, large portions.

I give Gizmo 3 and a half stars not because of the facility but because the drink machine was broke the vending machine only took ones and no credit or debit cards. So, we ended up standing in line to get lukewarm water or apple juice.
I did like the fact that the adults didn't have to pay if they weren't playing any of the games.
Our party was big and we tried to push the table together but we were told that was against the rules.
When you go to a restaurant and you have a big party they push the tables together so you not only enjoy the restaurant but your friends and family.

It doesn't look like much when you walk in but there's so many amazing things here which my family loved, the go carts and bumper cars were more than perfect and the games were lots of fun. I only wish that it could be a bit cheaper as I'd wish to go more often, until then a monthly visit is just fine.

Came to Gizmos today with my 5 year old for some mom and son time. Luckily the tunnels stole the show because a number of their games were out of order. However, with our ultimate wrist band, we did get to enjoy other available attractions. Overall, it's a nice facility. (Games pictured with red card swipe were all out of order.)

The scene for kids are wonderful. It's the Customer Service that sucks. I went to get something to eat. The server seen the line and when it came my turn to order she tells me the orders stop with the person in front of me. I think her name was Megan. My problem was she could of told me that before it was my time to order but insisted on making me wait 15 minutes to hear that. Then the manager let's me order but then I had to wait another 45 minutes just to get some wings now me and my kids were being rushed to eat. I still have my gizmo card because I couldn't go back and play games

They are not practicing social distancing or monitoring the amount of people that are in there. No crowd monitoring, no crowd control; no social distancing. Very unsafe. No mask wearing enforcement. They ran outta food. Bathrooms were trashy and dirty. Such an unclean establishment in this midst of a global pandemic. Staff doesn't work. Kids are running around unattended by parents while staff aren't managing any of the play areas and just allowing kids to do whatever.

There is not actually much to do in my opinion. We tried to play different games and they where not working correctly. Played laser tag with a gun that was not active and had to leave the game. Nothing was whipped down between customers. Kids liked it some.

They didn't limit the number of people in the building, absolutely zero social distancing, no cleaning by the staff at all, limited hand sanitizers, kids run wild with no supervision. Limited staff does nothing to ensure a safe environment for children in the tot area. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This place is SO GHETTO this isn't the place to come to in this crisis of COVID-19 most of the people don't even wanna keep their mask on and the employees should tell them to put it ON.

Also a fight broke out between some little kids and the parents got into the fight and literally WERE THROWING HANDS WTH bad enough this is the south side what do you expect I came here because I wanted to see if the reviews were true they are! I took my 5 year old son to the location in Orland park and the whole experience was terrible. Upon entering we were told that the kitchen was closed but not for the evening and that we could place our orders later. Not a problem until we went to order food and we were told that the kitchen would be closed for the evening. I was told that I could not bring in outside food due to COVID-19 and that the kitchen was closed because they were under staffed. After talking to the cashier and speaking with a manger I was allowed to purchase pizza and fries. Due to them being under staffed that's all

This is a great place to have a birthday party for family members, the price is reasonable for up to 10 people but they will charge you additional $25 per person. Everyone gets an unlimited wristband to play for that day which was great. The activities was great such as the laser tag and the go cart was the best for me.

The worst thing about this was not the price or activities but the hygiene prep that the workers demonstrated. They did not wear protective gloves when handling the drinks. I saw them put their hands in the cups and touch the pizza and when they wore gloves, they tended to touch

Sunday afternoon kid party, not crowded. Lots o'arcade games and activities to keep the kiddos busy! Mediocre pizza and surprisingly tasty chicken bites. Staff assists with setup, serving, and cleanup. Not a bad system!
