When I started to form a business plan for the studio, the intent was to create a place much like my home studio growing up. Safe space to learn and gain proper knowledge about dance as an art form with lots of laughter and friends. What it became is so much more. Inertia Performing Arts is not just a dance studio.
It's me. It's my heart and soul and in return is the heart and soul of every dancer that steps through those doors. The admiration, love, and mutual respect is palpable every day of the week. My class numbers are kept low to ensure that all dancers receive individual attention not only as dancers but as people.

The Open Arts Program emphasizes the development of proper technique while producing well-rounded dancers in a nurturing environment. Dancers learn proper dance etiquette and build skills toward overall body awareness and coordination. Our program is geared towards educating and producing a sound, technically proficient dancer and performer.

This studio has the most amazing teachers and community! The technique programs are world class, and my daughter is growing into a "real" dancer. They specialize in form and performance which, in my opinion, is why almost all of the studio's dancers that audition for TWIGS at Baltimore School for Arts get in. IPA is a great place for any child that loves dance to learn and grow!

We moved up to baltimore about a year and a half ago, and I had been looking for a dance studio for my girls. This place is amazing! Love the energy, the people, the shows. My kids love everything they take and develop confidence. I love the diversity of the students, and it feels like a big family from the moment you get in there. Super professional and they are awesome with kids.
