Services
I prepare all types of personal income tax returns, including the Federal 1040 and all State returns (45 states). I can handle just about any tax situation, prepare returns and provide advice for those who are retired, disabled, self-employed, unemployed, students, and many others. I will gather all of your paperwork and interview you to make sure that no deduction is overlooked.
I do not provide payroll tax service, but can refer you to reputable services that I work with. I also provide bookkeeping, budgeting, and other small business consulting services. I am an in QuickBooks and can help you set it up and use it more effectively for your business. Please contact me to learn more.
If you didn't file your tax return last year, it's not too late. Even if you haven't filed for several years, I can help. The important thing is to file your return(s) as soon as possible, even if you are unable to pay the entire balance due. The IRS assesses separate penalties for failure to file and failure to pay, which increase every month the return is late.
I charge much less than a CPA or attorney, and even less than those big chain tax stores. That's because I don't have the overhead of a large office or national TV advertising. Most others won't tell you their prices until after you are already in their office, figuring you won't make the effort to leave once you are there.

Great experience with Vere. My husband has a 1099 - which can be pretty daunting. Vere was able to help us with no problem. He is affordable and the fact that he comes directly to you is a huge bonus. We've always tried to do our taxes ourselves in the past, but now that we found Vere, we will be going with him from now on. He is up on the most recent tax laws, and explains everything thoroughly. Dealing with my taxes has always been a nightmare. Every year I'm shocked by what I end up owing, trying to figure out how I'll pay the IRS while my friends are happily spending their tax refunds. He didnt file one of my forms correctly because he is NOT that knowledgeable with taxes! Had my Fidelity retirement specialist on a conference call with him, and he finally said he would fix and file the amendment but he wouldn't admit he entered things in correctly, no matter how many times the retirement specialist tried to explain what he did wrong, and wanted me to pay him an additional $150
