In business for many years, the Great Barrington Antiques Center has become one of the Berkshires premier destinations, for those in search of quality antiques, art and collectibles. Our handicap accessible antique shop is located on Route 7 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. We are open seven days a week (except Wednesdays in the winter) from 10am until 5pm and accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and debit cards.
At the Great Barrington Antiques Center, new merchandise arrives daily. Below, we have placed several items presently featured in our 5,000 square foot, multi-dealer antique shop and welcome your inquiry. I'm not happy to share this review, but I'm obliged since this was the worst experience I ever had with any business. We wanted to purchase a primitive item, and when checking out, I asked whether the seller could do a little better (we are dealers and the item was for resale). He said in a nasty manner.. 'We don't negotiate'. He immediately started to write up the order when my wife asked about a 'dealers number' -- for tax purposes. He blew up insanely/. Claiming my wife was not wearing a mask. -- she was/. Basically refusing to do business and asked us to leave. We did. Worst experience I ever
