Forever Home Training provides educational programs to become a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the State of New Jersey. Our programs are approved by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. We assist our students every step of the way facilitating successful course completion and a licensing rate close to 98%! Services
The CHHA course consists of 60 hours of class lecture done remotely and 16 hours of training in our on-site skills lab. Once training is complete, students will have the knowledge and skills required by the New Jersey Board of Nursing to become a Certified Home Health Aide. Once you have completed this course, we will assist you with the state application to get approved for your CHHA certificate.
A nursing program at a NJ college can be expensive and take several years to complete. Whereas becoming an HHA is affordable and training can be completed quickly allowing you to get to work faster. The need for nursing care to help our New Jersey seniors is continuously on the rise as a large number of our population continues to age.
The main responsibility of a Home Health Aide (HHA) is to provide personal care in the home setting. Home Health Aides help elderly adults with "activities of daily living" (ADL's) such as bathing, getting dressed, preparing meals, eating, mobility and hygiene needs. Home Health Aides are required to get a certification here in New Jersey.
