Primary Care Associates (PCA) is a network of more than 50 independent primary care doctors in North San Diego County. Our focus is to keep our members healthy and informed about their care. We take pride in the relationships we build with our members. PCA is not a health plan. Rather, we're a medical network of primary care doctors, specialists and hospitals located conveniently near you.

When your clients choose a Primary Care Associates (PCA) doctor, they have access to providers who are committed to our members' health and wellness. We work with local hospitals, urgent care centers and specialists to deliver the medical benefits available to your clients through their health insurance plan.
Your doctor already knows your health history, conditions and what medications you're taking. When you need care, your doctor should be the first person you go to. Your doctor can coordinate your care and target treatment to help keep you healthy. Urgent care doctors are knowledgeable and trained for urgent situations that are not life-threatening.
Once your health plan has your new information, please give us a call so we can update our records, too. Please seek immediate medical help by calling 911 or going to the nearest emergency room (ER). The ER should try to contact your primary care doctor and health plan to tell them about the care you received.
