They reported finding an established colony of Indians, numbering 800 and known as the Chowanokes.
Pembroke Pointe Real Estate was founded by Ann Perry in 2002. The name was derived from her family's interest in developing their Edenton Marina waterfront property into a residential community. A combination of preserved historic homes with interesting architecture, gorgeous waterfront, a busy downtown reminiscent of yesteryear, ample opportunities to enjoy mother nature and a plethora of happenings and events have earned Edenton the pleasure of being often referred to as "the prettiest little town in the South."
