I am a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor who works with teens and adults ages 18 years and older. I began my career in 2010 working in a private practice setting as well as doing outreach in several long term care settings. My areas of specialty includes depression, grief and loss, anxiety disorders, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
In May of 2016, I attended the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) in Oconomowoc, WI. The BTTI is an in-depth, intensive training course in the evaluation and treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Services
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. As a service to you I will bill your insurance company, however you are responsible for anything that they do not cover. My fee schedule for private payers is $150.00 for initial intake interview which is 60-75 minutes and $125.00 for follow-up appointments which are 45-50 minute sessions.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the ability to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. You already have some strengths that you've used before, that for whatever reason isn't working right now. Perhaps this problem feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths.

I felt like my 3 sessions were very surface level and struggled to connect with my provider. When I cancelled my last appointment, there was no discussion to reschedule or concern as to why but there were calls and texts to collect payments. In the mental health industry, I find this backwards. I do not recommend as the advice, again, was very surface level and the conversations were overall awkward. I only seen one of the two providers, so this does not speak towards everyone.
