Incorporated as Cedar Cross, Inc., Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Lommen were the first to introduce European exterior rolling shutters to the Upper Midwest in 1978. They also became distributors of Bali Blinds to dealers and designers. In 1982 Cedar Cross, Inc. (Roll Up Shutter Company) developed into a retail business and brought the Ready-Made Mini Blind concept to the Upper Midwest.
